I happened to meet Carroo's dad and uncle yesterday during the game. They weren't speaking for him, but suffice it to say that both were rooting for a change in QB. Makes you wonder.

Funny, I spoke to some other parents and they were very happy with Laviano as starting QB

I'm not defending Flood's current overall grasp on the situation, from his perspective as a football coach, but...

A guy doesn't go out and do what Carroo is rumored to have done because he doesn't respect his head coach. This is a whole different level.

Carroo is 22 years old. If he got involved in an incident outside the stadium that is on him...Flood isn't his guiding guardian and doesn't control what he does off the field. I don't understand all of this off field nonsense but the fact is the players have to have self control. I have two sons in their later teens. You try to guide them and inform them. In the end, their behavior is up to them.
