The nafoomers are somehow blaming his de-commitment on Yancy. Hilarious. Those 17ers are nuts.

That place used to be somewhat good. Now it's just essentially eggbowl.com, minus the State posters.

They should blame his commitment on David Johnson. Somebody has to take the fall. LL never acted like he was committed there.

Does anyone know this supposed genius move by Freezus in visiting LL on Friday? And subsequently backfired bc Yancy "ran his mouth."

There are rumors. It sounds like Freeze tried to manipulate the situation, from a personal perspective. It sounds like it went wrong, before Yancy actually voiced that particular day's opinion of Freeze's infallibility.

According to Rosebowl the Bears "paid" a visit to his father in prison.

Didn't go so well according to Rosebowl.

If all the rumors are correct and Leo Lewis does not sign with Ole Miss, then they can forget about all these other guys they are courting. You have to have a central piece to these recruiting classes and if they cannot keep a long-time in-state commitment on board, they are not getting the out of state ones. Momentum is huge in this game, and Ole Miss seems to have lost it in the blink of an eye, I mean since Wednesday. I cannot believe I am getting sucked into this stuff again. I guess it is alright for one week.

I would imagine they'll land two of Leo, Drew Richmond, Jefferson, and CeCe. Still a good haul with the JUCO players they landed in December.

Make no mistake, TSUN will pull out all the stops to insure a splash on signing day. The dead period is when they work their magic. And I don't necessarily mean #TheNetwork. I mean that they will do, or say, anything (to anybody) to make flips come on Wednesday morning.

I'm not guaranteeing full-blown success, but their own brand of "Relentless Effort."

I wonder if Richmond is watching what cece does. I've got a feeling om will one or the other, but not both. Seems Richmond starting waivering when cece talk got hot. I have nothing to base this on, but I don't think Richmond wants competition for lt after tunsil leaves

Apparently he is. I'm an idiot. I listened to Neal on bo bounds and they compared him to tunsil. I guess the comparison was just as very talented players. For some reason I've thought he was a T. Shows how much I keep up with OM recruiting. Anyway, I'm an idiot haha

Leo Lewis just decommitted. I see no way they sign him. Recruits do not decommit from a school less than a week from signing day, if they are going to sign there. That battle is between LSU and MSU from all reports. Two of those guys you listed are committed to them so I guess you have a safe bet there. At this point I do not see the 5 star Florida boy CeCe going to Ole Miss unless they get them all, similar to 2013, but with the Lewis news that is highly unlikely.

- Signed CJ Hampton

But It doesn't look like they're much of a factor for Leo either way. I think they get Cece. I saw where 6 out of 8 guys on Rivals had OM listed as his likely destination.

Richmond to Tennessee, CeCe to his home school(UF), Van Jefferson to his home school (Michigan), Lodge stays home with his boy at aTm, and Lewis signs with MSU.

2011 all over again...from the other side of the curtain...

Pretty much the day and night shift on Nafoom. I got to give them credit.

Not to worry, OM. VictoryRed says the '16 class is better than their '13 one. and LL is a bidding war. Very informative stuff over at NAFOOM. That and 'Freeze will dominate Mullen more times than not'... I think home games switch from year to year so I cannot foresee OM getting to play us at home back to back years... Or they may be just going to re-evaluate that statement after each home game for them. If they could hold serve at home, Freeze would be 'ahead' of Mullen every other year...

It's pretty clear Yancy got cut off after 2013, and he only gets minor things now.

It's also clear he never really had many sources outside of the coaching staff feeding him some pearls of wisdom.

As I said over on Nafoom, he used to actually have a lot of good information. You just had to know when he went from reporting his actual stuff to blowing homer smoke. It was fairly easy to tell. These days though, it's almost all made up, or it's Twitter reports that anyone can see if they're following our main recruits. It's amazing how quickly his information dried up. He's scrambling now to fill.

From my understanding, he really screwed up in letting out some information during the 2013 class that they wanted kept under wraps, and so they've now cut all the recruiting sites down to basically a handful of nuggets here or there.

The telling part is when he reports we're recruiting someone new, and we find out later that our staff had been in contact with said player for months. It's happened quite a bit. These "new" names pop up that actually aren't new at all.

Who was that for 2013? Because the out of state guys were recruiting Conner to Ole Miss away from Bama.

Anytime ya'll want to go off on his tail I am an interested reader. It is

funny to watch his flock on the Spirit treat him like the Pied Piper of Ole Miss recruiting.

Reports from #TheCo-Op are encouraging. I think they figured out the daddy deal

a little late in the process.

I feel the key guy for '13 was Nkemdiche. He was the linchpin, had he not gone to Ole Miss, I doubt (and this is my opinion only) Treadwell and Tunsil would have come in. Conner was coming regardless.

Exactly. I found it hilarious that some bear friends were telling me that Freeze was secretly telling the top recruits what Kimdeechee was going to do. My response: do you really think that Freeze would really tell them that Kimdeechee is not coming until proven otherwise?

Sometimes I think Yancy and others still have the same sources, but that the particular coaches giving them information just turn out to be too optimistic or to have misread things.

I agree on Tunsil. Disagree on Treadwell, he was committed before any of them, publicly or privately.

My point was that he said if Freeze can't keep a big instate guy, he can't get the out of state players. 2013 kinda ruins that since there wasn't a big time MS kid recruiting these guys.

The point was that the class needed a centerpiece, which was Leo Lewis. I agree with HD6, in 2013 it was Robert Nkemdiche. No, he was not in-state, but he was about the closest thing. I do not understand why I have to spell this out to you. The only reason I mentioned that Lewis was an in-state commitment was to illustrate how devastating it will be if he did not sign, as it pertains to the other recruits.

But Treadwell was committed because he knew Nkemdiche was coming.
