I have seen zero indication Mickey will be the guy. Liepold is a much better choice. Pair Leipold with the Illinois DC, or heck, drag Pruitt from wherever the hell he is, and it will be a heck of a combination.

He had a really good defensive coordinator in Jim Knowles, but Ohio State hired him away this year for $2 million/year. He hired Derek Mason this year, who was not great as a head coach but has a pretty good track record as a D.C.

I'm old enough to remember how pissed off people would get at Tom Osborne whenever he'd lose a game. Everyone's favorite joke was that it took him 2 hours to drive from Omaha to lincoln, because he can't pass. This was pre 1994
