I’m far from a signature expert, but I have been loading up on State CWS stuff lately, and one thing I can say is that if this dude faked some of these, he went to a ton of effort. The TA, Bednar, and Rowdey sigs are spot on.

Aside from that, for me it comes down to what you’re planning to do with it. If you’re wanting to flip it, obviously some due diligence is important. On the other hand, if it’s going in a personal display case and it’ll eventually be handed down to a family member… who’s to say it’s not legit? I’ll also add that these complete team signed items are getting harder and harder to come by for what it’s worth

Even if fake, you won't know and it's not a piece of memorabilia that's going to be valuable like an autographed rookie card from Trout or something. So get it if you want it. Nobody will know the difference.

I'm not an autograph guy at all, never asked for one or bought one and never will. But, I was at a memorabilia show in Atlanta one day strolling and looking for old sports stuff and had an old guy vendor there tell me he had quit dealing in autographs totally simply because there were more forgeries than authentic ones floating around out there nowadays

Depending on your situation financially it's probably worth the risk. Back around 1994 I was in a antique shop in Nashville and saw a blue forage cap. I looked at it and it looked like a M1858 forage cap. The guy wanted 200.00 for it. He said he was not sure if it was old reproduction's or original Civil war. I took a chance. Last year I found it in the cedar chest in my closet. I forgot about it. We sent it to an dealer who has been dealing with Civil War stuff since 1970. He sent it back and it was original. He appraised it at 2400.00. You never know.

Gotta confess I got Dale Earnhardt to sign a new white Chevy cap. It still in a plastic bag in my closet and never been worn. That and Dusty Hill were the only two I ever asked for...both guys were super nice.
