What kind of issues? Last time I was out there it seemed like there were more dispensaries than gas stations.
No, I’ve not changed my mind on this. I’m still AGAINST the legalization for recreational use. Medical I’m fine with.

I'm currently in Colorado Springs and it is medical only here or drive 15 min to Manitou Springs, but they are everywhere. Have not seen any issues.

That has nothing to do with legal weed, the opioid crisis is nationwide and fueled by the cartel from Mexico.
Rent is and has been going up due the the great job market and lack of available housing.
Denver is a large city and has big city problems like homelessness, at not near as bad as Seattle or Portland.
Medicinal should 100% be legal. There's too much evidence that supports the health benefits for those who need it. Only issue I see for recreational use is the traffic accidents. States that have legalized it saw in uptick in number of traffic accidents and fatal traffic accidents. There's not a real way to test for whether a driver is high or not other than police discretion.

In this same thread a user with a widespead panic lyric as a user name says he is against recreational pot, so I'm not sure that would have been a safe assumption.
All I know is that there is a chance for MS to move itself forward by multiple steps at once.

One of the major reasons the U.S. has seen an uptick in heroin use over the last decade is due to prescription opioid manufacturers, distributors, dispensers, and prescribers finally closing what until recently was an open spigot. An addict's body does not know the difference between an Oxycontin from Purdue and a baggie of H (generally - there are issues with purity). So when your Rx opioid resource dries up (or becomes prohibitively expensive), switching to heroin is a logical path. The demand for the illegal version therefore increases.
If you had the health issues I've got, you'd be in favor. And I was never a user growing up. Thought it was the devil's lettuce. It helps me tremendously. It should absolutely be legal.

That’s a bad take. People addicted to opiates aren’t going to switch to mj because it’s legal but then switch back to heroine because now it’s half off. Think that one out loud, it’s asinine. Cartels have gotten in to meth and fentanyl to adapt the the changing market for mj in the US.

Full legalization is a no brainer. You’d have to be brain damaged to not support medical. There isn’t a good argument out there when you consider what’s already legal and what’s prescribed.

If the cartels are shipping in heroin because weed is now legal, then we need to make broccoli illegal. They'll want to corner that market.

This is a good article of pros and cons. Don’t agree with all the cons but there is evidence that traffic issues increase.

I feel bad for people who aren’t smart enough to see the benefits of pot. Who are blinded by what they’ve been told their entire sheltered life. Pot is awesome.
You came here looking for a serious discussion. I ask a legitimate question. It’s hard to take you serious if these are the responses you’re giving. Basically your mind is made up and nothing will come from this thread other than page after page of arguing and name calling until it’s locked.

Make it legal, period. Law enforcement these days are like deputies of yesteryear trying to run down moonshiners and bootleggers. It is crazy. They should be spending time on things that matter.
