I noticed that LFL will now cost $2k per year. I'm assuming you still have to buy tickets but this still seems like a deal. You get a few people to go in together and it's not bad at all. I'm curious how that compares to what is in place now. Do any current LFL people feel this is outrageous?

I haven't gotten a straight answer on how many lounges there will be. Same as current?

Our current fee is $175. and there are 86 spots/owners who will have first shot at getting a new space. We'll have 6 people who will be owners in our spot (all family members) so the 2K won't be a burden. We're looking forward to our new home.

How many current spots are there? I see that there will be 86 spots after the renovations. I guess I'm asking will there be any new left field lounge owners?

Currently 86 spots. It's my understanding the number (86) will remain same.

Yes, it will remain the same and the spots will be smaller since all 86 are going to be on the left field side. Gone are the 70 person frat trailers. I'm going to guess that each spot will seat about 10 people which is fine with me. We usually only have more than 10 for SBW anyway so it won't be a problem for my crew.

As far as the original post goes, I'm good with the price and I think it should have been around that much for a while. I've also thought that they should put a requirement that each spot buy a minimum number of season tickets and maintain a certain attendance percentage on those tickets. Those are premium spots and should only be available to people who show up for games regularly.

Man that was a steal for years! I'm glad it got raised but I'm also glad it's not to the point of being a huge burden on guys that have been there for years. $2k seems enough to make people show up after paying that much.

$2k only makes sense as a temporary price to reward the loyalty of existing owners. Those spots are worth more and eventually should be priced to reflect that.
