This is exactly what I said to my sons as we were watching this. One asked about Lee and I said he will likely be a backup. But when I thought more about it the only thing I could say is that Lee is gonna get a lot of minutes this season. He definitely is ahead of Alex right now. He's got that 7-3 wingspan and ridiculous 43 inch vertical. He's gonna be on the floor, especially early in the season while Alex is still regaining his confidence. He honestly may be ahead of Alex. Alex is so timid right now.
And he's still like a jack rabbit bouncing around out there.
I heard once that he used to play volleyball.
I already hear Cal putting his cards in Alex basket which i think is a mistake. Matthews Lee and Willis can handle it. I like Poy but i am not counting on him to be elite

I would rank Lee right up there with Skal, Murray, and Ulis as the most impressive players last night. Cal has got to find a way to get him on the floor.
Briscoe showed flashes, but I think nerves got the best of the rest of the guys. Poy was playing at about 50%. I think Cal will bring him on slowly. By the time SEC season rolls around, he should be fine.

Yeah but did you know that Anthony Davis took the 4th most shots in 2012?
I bet you didn't.
Willie Cauley-Stein was a wide receiver in high school.
Richard Madison throws a 90 mile an hour fastball.
These are amazing. Also Heshimu means "warrior".Adam Sandler once wore a Kentucky shirt in one of his movies.

Alex has a twin sister on campus.Richard Madison throws a 90 mile an hour fastball.
I thought it was an honest assessment. To go from a very good team to an elite team, we need Alex Poythress in beast mode.
No reason for Poy to go all out for BBM. Really - as always - no real reason for any of them to. It wasn't even an official scrimmage. I'm sure we'll see more at the B/W scrimmage, and, of course games as they start.
Maybe so, but Cal will play Alex out of "loyalty"
Go away.
No I don't believe I will. Its a legitimate point.
As for "Never seen Cal seem so desperate"
Another poster explained it perfectly with "ramp up the rhetoric". Those were the words I simply could not find. I think he made a good post. Maybe its not "desperation" (Cal's speech and saying "hopefully) but its definitely born of something that wasn't there before.
Pretty sure this is intentional.I already hear Cal putting his cards in Alex basket which i think is a mistake. Matthews Lee and Willis can handle it. I like Poy but i am not counting on him to be elite
Cal will be "loyal" to Poythress no doubt. Lets just hope his "loyalty" doesn't show up at a critical time in a critical game.
If someone who didn't claim to be a UK fan posted the things that you posted, would you think he was a troll?
If a Kansas fan was constantly making the same juvenile, anti-Cal posts, would you think he should be allowed to retain his posting privileges?
This is rhetorical, of course. We all know you would throw your shoulder out of socket clicking the like button as fast as you could.
Another cry to the mods, instead of countering and posting something of substance. Cant imagine the ***-whippings you took growing up.
