Only 38 current and former teammates who made an All-Star appearance at some point in their careers. That’s definitely not enough help to win more than four championships — people are unfair to think winning NBA titles is the point of your career. Don’t people know stat padding and counting longevity stats are the point of basketball? I think the O’Brien trophy should be awarded to the player who collects the most points, rebounds and assists each year instead of the participation ribbon for winning meaningless playoff games on the grandest stage. As for Jordan, can’t be the GOAT…he never played a Game 7 a single time in the Finals. What an idiot! He clearly didn’t even know you could play the extra game and pad even more all-significant stat totals while playing ole defense. MJs entire career was a flop.

Lebron James Basketball GIF by FOX Sports: Watch. Enjoy. Repeat.

(Clearly, I’m trolling and joking around.)

Larry Bird will always be my favorite player but MJ is a close 2nd. Take this vid you posted for example. I've never seen this and it's just another ho hum move by him that gets overlooked. Dude was more than what he's known for. Probably THE most driven to win player I've ever had the joy of watching. MJ continually upped his game and proceeded to shut those up who said he was "just a scorer". These younger folks today have zero idea what it was like watching the NBA during this time. I'm glad I got to witness it.

I am not a huge Lebron fan but I can get behind him when he has a Cat next to him. Loved seeing him and AD win that covid title and hopefully he can help Maxey (and Edwards) get the job done in Philly. Hated him when Kyrie was his sidekick just bc of Duke. Honestly the Sixers are due and would be fun to see them win one.

That list is so disingenuous it’s crazy. Out of all the names mentioned, i count only 7 that were All Stars when they actually played with LeBron.

Imagine being so intellectually dishonest that you lose Juwan Howard as an All Star that LeBron played with even though he was an All Star a full 15 years before they were ever on the same team. And he’s not the only one like that.

But you keep up the good fight op.

The list was disingenuous on purpose. That’s why it says “Tongue-in-cheek” in the subject line lol. You think I thought prime Juwan Howard played with LeBron in Miami lol?

OP is so dumb he doesn't even know WTF the point of his own post was.
The point of it was to jokingly poke fun at LeBron fans for saying they don’t have enough help. The post was tongue-in-cheek (explicitly said in the subject line) and was never intended to be serious argumentation. It is, however, an intentionally hyperbolic point, much like pro-LeBron fans often use. My post does not include important context such as the fact that Shaq, Juwan Howard, Deron Williams etc were decades removed from being All-Star caliber players. Using the appearance of statistical viability without any substantive context was intentionally shallow. This is the same thing people are doing when they use contextless longevity stats like most points, most field goal makes, etc are doing when they argue stat totals mean he is the greatest player of all time. Those people fail to add the context, which is why I openly mocked by using the same faulty methodology. Counting stats are great for demonstrating otherworldly consistency/longevity/staying power, but that’s it. Otherwise, you end up ranking PJ Brown above Bill Walton in your all-time pecking order. Furthermore, counting stats-folk fail to recognize counting stats also resulted in LeBron James having the most turnovers in NBA history, the most field goal misses in NBA history, the most playoff losses in NBA history, top five in free throw misses, etc.

I can go on if you want. Maybe I am just as dumb as you say, but I’d say your response shows a lack of comprehension, given the fact that the original post and the thread title both make clear this was tongue in cheek and yet here you are with this nonsense lol.

This echoes my thought when I saw this thread. The OP must’ve been desperately craving some internet attention when he started this one.
Interesting. You could have typed that response into a notepad app on your PC and only you would see it. Yet you posted it here — need some internet attention?

Lol this is a message board — no one posts here without wanting others to see it.

Literally talking out of both sides of your *** lol. Please refrain from starting new topics for the next 30 days. 3, 2, 1 you're dismissed.

I know a guy that picks his team based on whatever ******** team jumping LeBron is doing. It’s hilarious seeing him suddenly show up in a New Jersey pretending he’s been a fan of the organization since birth. Like no one noticed he’s been a fan of another team over the last half decade or more. He’s a secretary? who works in a back room doing God knows what at the clinic and provides instant comedy anytime he walks in, which I expect nothing less from a guy dumb enough to actually be a LeBron fan lol.

He’s got the white black dude schtick down too, which I thought phased out just a bit but, apparently he didn’t get the memo.

Not a LeBron fan at all. I believe that all the thrilled Philly fans (I live about an hour from Philly) are setting themselves up to be disappointed. LeBron will take a lot of shots away from the other Philly players and I personally think the Sixers made a mistake in getting him.

Have you ever watched Lebron play? He's pass first.
