In my opinion, this is the key for Duke to win the title. We have a leader in Allen, but someone else must step up. I don't think he can do it alone.
We all know the 15 title team had 1 senior, 1 junior, and 1 sophomore in the rotation that were all major contributors. Plus a fired up junior Plumlee that was energy in the small time he got. This team has only 1, and as much as I like Grayson, he gets a little loose on the court from time to time.
One of our other starters has to step up from a vocal standpoint. The only one I see doing any talking out there is Allen. I read where K held a practice not long ago and made the entire team yell.
The only one who may feel the role is Marvin. I think he needs to step it up from a leadership point. It's obvious his talent is there, but we need someone else to take the reigns and assist Grayson in that department.
I really don't care who it is, but someone needs to get on there fellow "brothers." Not just Grayson.
To me, that's the only thing holding this bunch back from being special.
