Lacking in a huge way

Jacob right now is the only One playing with noticeable fire

ive been hard on Montez...but his Jersey has sweat at least today ....

we came out Beyond flat today ...And at some point, a bunch of fourth and third year players should have enough understand that they need to come out in ANY big ten game with fire ...otherwise we are going to get smacked.

yes ...we allowed an opponent to come in and punk us in our own gym

and that starts with your leaders

and there are AWOL right now as the season is on the line ...

Big trouble tight now....

No doubt JY is a gamer while Geo and RHJ have lost all confidence. Can't win with so few offensive options and never ending scoring droughts. Team is rapidly trending towards a one and done both tourneys.

There is definitely a fracture in that locker room. Not sure what or who it is but something definitely wrong.

One thing I noticed today per BTN is Harper leading the team out of the locker room for the layup drills etc before the game. It always used to be Geo.

Geo was always the leader. We haven’t seen that leadership this whole year

In my humble opinion, some type of fracture has occurred within the locker room / team that has had an adverse effect on Geo and possibly Harper.

Also team does not look like it’s playing with passion and or having fun out there.

You may be right but this whole year I have not seen the leadership from Geo when he was always the supremo alpha dog. You don’t relinquish that role unless divisions and or masses in the locker room cause it to occur.

At the end of the day it’s up to the players. The coaches take the heat and blame themselves but pike is bailing these guys out. They need to dig deep and stop getting punked. Maryland punked them today. That’s what happened.

IMO, it started when McConnell came back. He’s not the problem — he’s been solid. But, it changed the rotation and guys started pressing because they had fewer minutes. I think Pike needs to tighten the bench and make some hard decisions on playing time. This “we have 8 starters” stuff isn’t cutting it.

Meh, that’s one variable. The schedule also got harder when he came back. Guys got injured. Without Caleb we don’t win 5 of 6 when we did

not necessarily...captains are not always the best players on the floor. He might be a big voice in the locker room

Very odd to have chemistry issues with a group that’s been playing for three years. Sometimes you get it when you add new guys to the mix ...but we are the same Basically the same cast of players fRon last year ....

Geo used to fire up the troops on the court last year. I don’t see any of it this year. Of course, you can’t necessarily see things only watching a TV screen this season, but you would think you would get a glimpse of it. I feel like Geo and Harper have both quit on the team. Hardly leaders.

I see a lack of effort on offense. The play that sealed the game in Mich-Ohio State was Eli Brooks making a simple hard cut to the basket after someone one got a loose ball/rebound.

They have no confidence in each other. After a few misses, passing the ball into the post, making the extra pass all goes away and everyone goes hero ball. That's not the mark of a team that is on the same page.

C'mon that's on Gettys way more than Geo. That's real dickhead thing to do for an ex player that is playing pro ball.

I don't like Geo's SJW campaign but you can't blame him for that.

Of course it is but CJ is not on the team...Geo is. Yes, he should not have responded.. it’s not like Young said it. No good can come out of a response and a lot of bad can.
