Geo did his typical no show, you have seen it before, clanking shots, I think maybe he was 0-4. I dont think he was any particular worse than anyone else as Harper was brutal. Only Paul and Cliff bothered to show up. Our defense was horrendous across the board and the mistakes multiplied as they did in the Maryland game both times. The bench as usual provided nothing and Pikiell was not able to push any of the right buttons.

its that there is no poise, if you think not going for loose balls or rebounds doesnt involve effort I dont know what to tell uyou
Reiber was nice off the bench.

Paul was unstoppable. Ron was bad. He needs to recognize that and trust in Paul enough to give him the ball there

Paul is obviously an excellent passer so you might even get the ball back
It was a rebound in rhythm with not a lot of time and then Ron gets to a spot that you want and just misses . Paul was not going to hit a 3 there and doubtful there was enough time to get to the hole or close to the hole for a quick pass or dunk.

Guys, Harper had a short open shot for the win. I’d sign up for that every time. He pulled up because he learned from Minny game when he tried to bull doze his way to the hoop on the last play and got a charge.

Mulcahy unbelievable tonight, feel bad for him we lost.

Seems we played a lot better with McConnell on bench. Hmmm.

Geo with disappearing act. But what really irked me is him getting the rock late in the game and immediately whipping the ball past Harper’s ankles out of bounds. WTF. Didn’t even bother looking at the basket. WTF.

Paul was right next to him off the rebound and running up the court. If he waned to give the ball to Paul he easily could have. There was enough time.

The shot he got was a good look, but he should have been looking to get Paul the ball there immediately. It was his game.

Also not sure why you think Paul couldn't have hit a 3 there. He hit 2 already and he was feeling it. Ron in rhythm to Paul for 3. Paul hero game Rutgers *sigh*

This team (coaches &players) needs to fix the first 5-10 minutes of every game, lack of intensity leading to turn overs sloppy play and atrocious defense on both ends of the floor. Coaches need to get them ready but the players are the ones on the floor, the captains right now seem to be the problem they need to be the solution. Right now more than anybody else Geo &Ron are under performing from both a leadership and intensity perspective. The shots don’t always fall, but there is no excuse for the lackadaisical effort, poor defense and lack of intensity.
