Nothing major that I heard. He picks a scab for half of it and said KJ has to ‘declutter his mind’.

Leach needs to declutter the part of his mind that doesn’t take gimme points in a league where you have to take gimme points in a close game.

He said in hindsight, he should have taken the points... which I mean... duh.

I forgot to say that he was kind of tepid in his praise of the defense. He said they played better than any side of the football, but was still reluctant to speak well of them.

If the system is predicated on attacking space, then the system needs to run at the space given at the LOS when the defense drops 8. We didn't do that last night. And I think they dropped 8 most every play.

KJ played awful. But our attack on a prevent defense was worse.

Yeah, coaches at this level aren’t paid millions of dollars to be good in hindsight. Especially when thousands of armchair coaches were simultaneously screaming at the TV, “KICK THE DAMN BALL!” He also better be more than tepid in his praise of the defense, because they kept coming out there and giving his *** a chance to win or, in this case, make terrible decisions that helped lose the game.

Cohen must have gotten on his *** about not wearing it in game 1.

Exactly ... no reason we shouldn’t have gained 5yds a carry or kept throwing the short routes until they changed up their defensive approach. KJ kept forcing passes when the under routes were open.

In hindsight going to TD instead of a FG was the right call because we needed 7, not 6. With that said, he should have taken the points at the time. The bonehead plays by Costello stand out above all other problems Saturday. He gave them six points and cost us other opportunities. If KJ plays clean we win, nuff said.

I'm happy with what I heard from him.

Now let's see what the result will be.

We shoulda took the FG on the first 4th down. There was plenty of time on the clock. It would have changed the momentum of the game even if it was only moved to neutral. Our defense did amazing getting Arkansas off the field the entire game.
I just think it would have been a big advantage having not just turned it over on downs just before

There is no reason to even wear one in the press conference. Was anybody even there?

He's outdoors and everyone on the field got tested for the virus on Friday. Of course the masks are only for show.

Pretty certain if we had kicked a field goal or two and lost 21-17 or 21-20 people would be irate that we didn't go for the TD.

I thought going for it was the right call both times, just very poor execution on the first one and a very obvious play call on the second one that got totally blown up and probably should've been an audible at the line of scrimmage.

Agree. I like the aggressiveness. We're 4-6 on 4th down conversions. Don't like the execution or the play call. The game should have never come down to those 2 plays anyway.
