Great guy and a VG coach. If he had a strong local recruiter he could have been a Coach Pike at RU.
I actually thought about posting something like this but I didn't want to be called a pu$$y. I might need emotional therapy if we actually make a tournament in my lifetime.
Every year I take off work for the first Friday of the tourney, head to the bar with a bunch of friends and root for some random teams that match some piece of paper I have in my hand. Always a good time but Rutgers playing that day would make all those years of drinking beer worth it.
Should we look like a lock for the tourney, we need to have a selection show party at the RAC. TV cameras will be there to show the reaction when we finally see our names in the field of 68.

Dear Lord if we do something down the stretch to play ourselves into an 8/9 (from a 6/7)- seed after 29 years I may cry both tears of joy and tears of pain at the same time.
I just hope that whenever we finally go to the big dance again, it is not in the play-in games (first four, whatever). I want a prime time game slot on Friday night!

This is a MUST. The RAC should be open on selection Sunday and filled!
Playing in Albany would be insane ! It’s an easy drive for the fan base. I see the Times Union Center has a capacity of 15,500 and I would predict a sell out.
