...and the game before ours goes to OT.Anybody know why we seem to always get the late games?
Never fails! :chairshot:...and the game before ours goes to OT.
This. I've always found it funny that people in the Eastern time zone think everything should be scheduled around them.7pm is 6pm for eight SEC teams (Central Time Zone)
Arkansas
Alabama
Auburn
LSU
Mississippi
Mississippi State
Texas A&M
Vanderbilt
I bet their fans hate the EARLY games (6pm)

Those late games are rough for the “glass 8/10ths empty” crowd when we lose. They are forced to complain into the wee hours.
I get what your saying, but both UGA and us are in the eastern time zone.This. I've always found it funny that people in the Eastern time zone think everything should be scheduled around them.
I'm not. Only half of Ky is eastern.I get what your saying, but both UGA and us are in the eastern time zone.
who do you work for that allows that?My work from home day is Wednesday, and while not the only reason, Tuesday night games did play a role.
who do you work for that allows that?
I am VERY OLD and consider 9pm late. Some of you must be old if you consider 8 PM to be late.
I do analytical work. The company I work for is still stuck in a 1970s mindset. IF I can't see you, you aren't working.IT Systems Engineer. Most tech jobs these days allow some portion of Work From Home. A lot of our developers are actually permanent WFH.
It's great, but not perfect.. I'm never as productive at home.. too many distractions, and I don't mean stuff like TV or video games.. I find myself spending a few hours to take care of personal ****.. the lawn, laundry, etc.
I do a lot of after hours work so it evens out.

4:30 AM is the middle of the night.I am VERY OLD and consider 9pm late.
I also consider 4:30am "everyday getting up" time.
So I eat Lunch for Breakfast and Breakfast for that night's Supper.
:sunglasses:
I'll whip yo azz for calling me old.....just joking[cheers]Some of you must be old if you consider 8 PM to be late.

You can drive to a central time zone and see it an hour earlier!Anybody know why we seem to always get the late games?

So now you consider a question as a complaint? Don’t take much to rile you, does it, boy?OP finds another thing to complain about. Surprise surprise .
OK...that is funny.Doesn’t really bother me, I live so far back in the sticks it’s still yesterday here.
I lived across the Robert E. Lee bridge over the creekDoesn’t really bother me, I live so far back in the sticks it’s still yesterday here.
We're starting to. Can't hire the young'uns who are programmers.TBH, I probably wouldn't like it either as a manager or CEO. I'm convinced that 90% of people are not as productive. And I know a good chunk spend half their days not working. Being in IT, we can see log on states, support tickets, etc.. and yeah, a lot of WFH people slack off.
That said, you can't go back. I'll never work for a company that doesn't allow at least one day. Organizations that don't adopt this will start to have staffing problems.
