Late fumble by Reed

I was really surprised it was ruled a fumble. It looked like he was trying to spike the ball at someone's feet while being pulled from behind. Not sure if he had an eligible receiver in the area. After seeing the replay, I was sure it would be ruled intentional grounding.

Wasn’t surprised by that, but was surprised that on Stewart’s sack a penalty wasn’t called. Not because there actually was but because it was a big play in an important moment and that is when the officials are supposed to do their thing.

I agreed with the analyst's take that the defender pulling his arm down is what gave the appearance of his arm moving forward for a pass.

Fortunately, it was an inconsequential call either way given the lead and time left in the game.

The ''official rules commentator'' on the broadcast stated he felt the forward arm motion was caused by the tackler and not intent to throw a pass by the QB and stated so prior to the review.
