After an 0-5 start? Has it ever happened? I doubt it has but ya never know. People will bash Husker fans for one reason or another but we are very loyal fans.

Most teams wouldnt sell out after a 2-3 start.
The sell out streak is tricky, because many business now buy thousands of tickets and give to employees. This helps get rid of many tickets and "sell out" on paper. I am guessing the butts in seats sell out has been broken long ago. I think the sell out is safe through next year. If we have another bad year next year. We may see it end in 2020.

Yes and no. The season tickets all sell out. The tickets that businesses or boosters gobble up are tickets that are returned from visiting teams.

I know someone will say we're splitting hairs but the fact is the tickets ARE sold

Really? I always thought Business bought thousands of season tickets and that is what they were giving out and helping to contribute to help keep the sell out streak.

You can go on Huskers.com at any time and see how many tickets are available, and there have never been thousands. Right now there is a request list only for Minnesota and maybe 50-75 available for Illinois and Michigan State.

I have my plane ticket and game ticket for the Michigan State game. I am still coming and can't see anything that will prevent my attendance to the game.

Accurate. There’s been a lot of empty seats in the stadium the past few years. We couldn’t give a few tickets away for 2 games.

I would absolutely love it if someone can show me a photo of the stadium at the start of the game with empty seats. I have missed three home games in the last 36 years, and except for a couple games with the top couple rows of the student sections having empty seats, I haven’t noticed empty seats.

That was true under Frank and Pelini both and sometimes during Tom's tenure. I sold 2 NU vs Kstate tickets when NU was 2nd and KSU was undefeated and 7th for 5 bucks each after standing around for half an hour trying to get 10.. I've had season tickets for 25+ years and we've had multiple games in almost every year where it was difficult to sell tickets and eventually gave them away. NOW, regardless of the record I'm fired up about getting to games. Unfortunately I've only been able to make it down to the opener that got cancelled so far. Fan enthusiasm is still high on Frost and I think we've turned a corner. I'm hoping to get back down there for a game soon.
