Look, I like the power K unis too. I’d be fine if those became the permanent option. Hopefully the statement about last Saturday’s unis almost costing UK the game was a joke. I get that people can be superstitious, but a uniform costing them the game? Thank goodness the coach and team don’t feel that way.

Looked mismatched to me. Nothing really made sense about them. I don't mind the black pants, but the trim on the jerseys need to be black if you're going to wear black pants. Just an odd combo for the jersey and pants.

So essentially change the blue trim and blue numbers and lettering to black and outline the numbers and letters in blue. IMHO, that would've made the look a lot more cohesive.

All that said, I'm done with the power cat thing. Give me the Power K and make it a football thing. I don't mind the interlocking UK, but I'm out on the power cat.

Me too, they looked awesome. Just use the power K and it’s perfect. That or keep the throwback ones forever cause those are straight .

Yes it was obviously a joke but the Power K needs to define UK’s brand. The interlocking UK and whatever the hell the humping birds logo thing is are both knockoffs of other university’s. You don’t see TN trying to reinvent the Power T, or Bama straying from their traditional look. The Power K was always Kentucky and you could tell as soon as you saw them on the field.

what is saving uniforms like this is the traditional thick stripes down the pants. You start moving away from that it’s crap. The fonts are good, numbers on the shoulder pads good. So the basics are there and it keeps everything in place to an extent. But the power K should be the staple of Steins teams. These uniforms against Oklahoma weren’t quite as bad as I thought at first, but like I said when you keep the basics in place bad will turn to meh.

interlocking UK is the worst thing I’ve ever seen and the interlocking sex birds is so bad. Barnhart is such a fool I cannot stand that POS.

The schools that have won something before?

Anyway, actually, UGA has worn a black, UT wore a gray before aka smokey and a black, florida wore a alligator scales jersey, A&M has worn black and a camo, arkansas has worn black, uscjr has worn cris cross pants and skeaves, ole miss has worn gray, texas has worn jerseys with gold metallic trim on the numbers, Alabamawore a jersey in 2010 with houndstooth on the numbers, etc. Google is your friend

There is a difference in a power K and Y on a football helmet. Both teams primary color is blue so that is hard to avoid. The humping birds logo belonged to KState before us and it’s been stupid ever since it came out and vastly unpopular with this fanbase.
