I want him to get hired at this point. There are some hysterical people on this board. God knows what they will do to themselves or others if another reasonable coach is named.
I think we should all be worried about who they think is reasonable. Addiazo or Hafley are not reasonable.

Hafley is very reasonable. I would agree with Addazio. I think that's a smokescreen from his agent. He was already angling for the job when he was playing us.

If GS doesn't land the RU job, I will take a wager with anyone. Hafley will be a p5 head coach before Schiano. He simply isn't viewed highly outside of NJ as a head coach.

We get it, you hate free speech and anyone that disagrees with your opinion.
After this latest PR debacle with the utter incompetence in handling the Schiano situation, who in the world worth anything is going to want this job? It’s wonderful that you believe there are “other options”, but a) who are they, and b) would they touch this job with a ten foot pole?

Schiano can recruit and he can quickly inspire the fan base. This program is in DEEP trouble and he’s proven he has the skills to at least get us to respectability. Maybe then he can pass the torch onward to a Campanile or someone else who can handle the sh!tshow of an administration. They’ve been so bad, they’ve almost permitted me the ability to forget about the incompetence of the Trump administration!

But not quite..

You’re not inspired by Schiano, but.... Addazio excites you??

Call your legislator

You can find your legislator here.

If you are calling, be sure to mention:

1. lost revenue from your discontinued donations

2. lost revenue from your discontinued season tickets

That is what they are looking for.

Completely disagree. Why would we hire an unproven career assistant? He's a co-def coordinator! Maybe he would make a great headcoach.... but that's rolling the dice, once again.

Ohio St just hired a coordinator to lead their storied program. I want some HC experience too, but that can’t be a hard stop. Because Ash sucked doesn’t mean they all do. Hafley is going to get a P5 job. He checks every other box.

I do like hafley. But supposedly hafley isn’t interested was what people were hearing. Rutgers has interest but it seems one sided.
Hafley knows he will get a better opportunity.

Mention (quickly) we know what Schiano did here last time. Increased academics, Increased ticket sales.. basically everything good increased and everything bad decreased. And we can use that now.. badly. He is worth the price being asked and Rutgers and New Jersey deserves one state university competing at the Big Ten level. Some pissant states fund 2 or 3 such university athletics departments.
