No first hand knowledge on this, but the word at the libation establishments on the north side where old coaches hang out, is that the last coach was relieved of his duties and didn't leave on his own accord.

It is times like these I miss the old CPS Message board.
I saw one Lane game this year. Their coach was absolutely not getting the most out of that team. Numbers and size were very impressive. Some really nice athletes. Seemed like good enthusiasm for the team in the stands. The schemes they were running seemed really disjointed with the strengths of the team on the field, at least from what I could see.
I'd say the same. They have struggled for the last couple of years getting the most out of what seems like a fairly talented roster. Alumni support for Lane is strong. Parent support is strong. This seems like a good job, especially in the CPL.
