I'm amazed that this discussion is still going. Do people here actually follow college football? The guy is an absolute disaster, who has never shown any actual results on the field, anywhere. And half of you are the same people saying Julie is incompetent.

I don't think too many of us are taking this discussion very seriously. I'm not taking any discussion of a new coach seriously because I'm not yet convinced we'll be getting rid of the existing coach.

My favorite, "judging by Kiffin’s coaching career, he talked a big game to Saban’s daughter, got her back to his place, couldn’t figure out how to take his pants off, then left early claiming he had gotten a better offer from someone else."

Record as a head coach:

Oakland: 5-15
Tennessee: 7-6
USC: 28-15

He was most successful at USC but given its reputation before he got there, it would have been difficult for him to not have a winning record. As it was, he inherited a team that went 43-9 during the four years before he arrived and he left with a 28-15 record after 3+ years. He did not exactly excel there. I've never been able to figure out why he became a "big name" coach.

Yes, ignore the fact that he could only sign 15 recruits his 3 years there & no one is paying $65,000 to walk on at USC.

The only thing wrong he did at the University of Spoiled Children was lose 3 games two years in a row.
