Yeah this isn't official yet. The guy OP posted a tweet from writes for Zagsblog and Zagoria is pretty plugged in with NJ/NY hoops. But it's more than likely he contacted Ware and got a generic reply. Ware removing UK from his IG page seems bizarre.

I hope he comes back. I love the idea of him backing up Oscar then stepping into a starting role as a junior.

Owed an apology for what? For saying he can’t shoot (he did have 3-4 good shooting games), dribble, drive to the rim, take contact, or defend?

Because he wasn’t good at any of that. He needs to improve. Constructive criticism isn’t bad, and saying the above isn’t ”bashing” him if it’s true. It is And sometimes the truth hurts. Toughen up, get better, and earn the praise. I think he can do it if he returns. But we know how this story goes.

Not all decisions are in the hands of the player.
Do we really want everyone back from that team.
Thus the predicament Cal has us in. Once the recruiting cooled, there is never enough talent to return and now not enough recruiting to back fill.
Transfer talent is the only way back to the Final 4 and that seldom pans out. Anyone good enough to take us to a final 4, will go pro.
Our cake has been baked for a few years at least.
Only regime change and a few more years will get us back to the gold standard. Unfortunately.

Hope he gets to work on his office game and just continues to become more physical. He looked like a freshman against MSU (and he should, he IS a freshman).

He got some quality PT this year. He may be a couple years from being a starter, but no reason he can't be a productive bench guy next year.

This and work on his footwork. He is strong enough. Hopefully he can develop some post moves and a softer touch. i like his work ethic. That you can't teach. Patience will pay off with this kid.

Sure hope this is true. Something about the kid i like. Reminds me of some of the old type players from years ago. Works hard and has good hands. He will be a good one if he sticks around.

You seem to be very simple. Not necessarily a bad thing.

You really aren’t smart. Just because someone didn’t show their full potential their first year doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be excited for them the next year and further. He was a 4 star that we now will have multiple years.

Boston could improve big time like Quick did. Brooks should come back. The team will be better and will have better chemistry after the tough year. Nice recruits.. it will be a deeper team much better prepared for season tip off.
