Great news. Lance will be a fantastic 3-4 year guy. Happy to see guys come back.
He’s exactly the kind of player Cal’s critics have said for years needs to stick around. So terrific news for all.
Like to see this, and probably means the Garrison Brooks rumors are not coming to fruition (which I’m very very good with, by the way). Lance will be much improved next season, benefitting big time by practicing against OT. But his true potential may not be seen until year 3, or even 4. But happy he’s back!

Askew, Allen, Ware should all be 3-4 years. I don't think Toppin is in any hurry, seeing as how he planned to redshirt this year. I really hope this is the start of having a core of stability with returning guys, with transfers and 1 and dones added in.
Needs to reach out to Boogie and hit the weight room...

I like this trend very much. I don't blame a kid for leaving if he is a 1st rounder. But what has killed us is all the kids who aren't 1st rounders....or even 2nd rounders...or in some cases not even NBA material period, leaving early. Some have gone overseas. Some have transferred. But it has been all the turnover we've seen among multi-year guys and not the studs that have kept us from having any sort of continuity. I can handle losing 2-3 studs to the league each year. What we can't handle is losing almost the entire damn roster every year.
Good news. Still need one of Clarke/Boston to return or add Hardy.
We had a team full of role players this year and we won 36% of our games because of it. We need some firepower. Another year for Boston or Clarke would do them wonders.

Clarke reportedly, is not welcomed back. He appr jawed with Cal a lot .

You can’t coach big body. He’s also very athletic for his size. I am very excited that Lance is coming back.

and the big bodied Hopkins is a nice frontcout foursome. I assume Toppin returns, and am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that Brooks comes back.
feels good to have some experience on the roster.
It seemed at the latter part of the season that Ware had lost some of his lift. Just couldn't seem to get off the floor like he was earlier in the year. Anyone know if he had some kind of minor injury, wore down from practice, or just lost some game condition from sitting by Cal all year?

I’m intrigued by a second year Boston, he was a top 6 recruit and he was scorching the nets on 3s at the end of the year. He comes back and works on finishing (which he was amazing at in high school) he’d be a good pick. He also has problems with taking plays off. Which is another thing high school scouts said about him.
.. and really, the two leaving are ones we likely suspected. If we walk away only losing BJ and Clarke along with them, that's huge.
Some people here said we were losing 7-8, basing it off prior years.. but as we know, this year was not like the last.
We're not out of the woods yet, but I don't see us losing more than 6. I'll put it at 5, that's my estimate.

Hell yeah! Where are the gys that said we would see another mass exodus and be left with 1-2 guys after transfers like Allen and Ware. LOL It's beginning and Barbee might leave, change is a comin!
