Who did they play? I can’t imagine him putting up those stats against top high school competition honestly. I like him and his attitude and I hope he’s getting better but seeing that line doesn’t make me think he’s suddenly morphed into PJ Washington after a summer.

Definitely, the level of the competition is in question. But, hopefully he is progressing. Maybe he can give UK a little more help next season than we thought.

Some interesting stats for Lance. Look at his PER 40

He'd get 9.5 points, but foul 7.5 times.

Im not mocking him. Just when you see that 7.5 times and you only get 5 fouls, at least to me, I found it funny.

Over 100 possessions he also blocks a touch over 3.5 shots last season. If you look at the offense it's 13.7 points in 100 possessions, but also nearly 11 fouls.

Compare that to Oscar who fouled less than 5x per 100 possessions, scored 31.7 points, and grabbed an astonishing 27.5 rebounds.

He was also the second best rebounder on the team in per-40. Hasn't yet shown he's a guy to count on for 20 min a game, but a capable reserve.

He obviously had a huge size advantage to put up those stats. It reminds me of UK with Oscar though in that he dominated but they still almost lost to the cupcake (sadly in UK's case we lost in reality).

Like, say, Keion? 🤣

Playing time earned or not, he was still a player on the team when you were talking **** about him. Please continue to let us know which players we can badmouth and which ones are sacred, hypocrite.
You said cal disliked Allen. Is your proof of this because he didn’t play him?

I wonder sometimes why any kid would spend anytime on the net. If they failed it’s I told you so and if they do great, it’s a fluke. If Lance Ware scores 39 points against anyone we should all celebrate. This is site is not filled by Twitter simpletons

Do why didn’t Allen play?
And you're deliberately trying to use an ancillary statement to turn the issue from my central point that you're a hypocrite for calling people out for saying something bad about a player when you had no problem throwing another one of our players under the bus.
Why did you feel so comfortable doing so?

When Keion was on, he was pretty good. It’s when he wasn’t.

Allen just doesn’t fit well with Cal’s overall system (which that’s a topic for another thread), but he’s not a bad player per se. Will be interesting to see how he does at WKU. Hopefully he doesn’t pull an Askew.

Jesus can’t anyone live and let live?

Kids’ are doing some outreach work and their “ hometown” fans can’t enjoy seeing them thriving.
Good for those 2. Bring back some added confidence and maturity.
Lance should be celebrated for truly understanding and accepting his role rather than transferring. That doesn’t happen often.

Exactly, we all should be proud, they represent our quality University in a very upstanding manner. These negative Nancy's/K

Again, this is distracting from the primary point: why is it ok for Ed to bash one player, but not okay for others to bash another?
I, personally, would prefer to just be happy with Ware's success and avoid bashing any of our players if possible. It just seems that for some, it's only possible with certain players

By the way who exactly did I bash? I took up for Ware against the normal mob that looks for any chance to piss on a player or coach.

I remember Rob Lock playing at UK kid looked awful for 3 years. The last year he was here something clicked and he had a very good senior year. Hope the kid has a great trip and comes back great. What true UK fan wouldn’t want something to click and kid comeback great!! He seems like a great teammate!!

You've bashed Dontiae multiple times in this forum. That was the initial point of my post, but you're so all-fired on hugging Cal's nuts that you probably missed that in your rush to defend him.
Only thing I have said about him is he didn’t work hard in practice and after practice. Is that bashing? If you can find where I said anything other that that I will apologize. But you can’t.

Some people on this board want him to be bad so they can be right more than Ware be successful. They wanted it with Keion and they want it with Ware. They will tell you until they are blue in the face that he sucks. How can you be a true Ky fan and rip on your on kids?? CRAZY!!
