Lamb posts a somewhat disrespectful shot

Why is it totally normal for a guy with a championship in football to get fired but it's somehow not okay in basketball to want one to leave?

Belichick won six Super Bowls- pushed out
Mike Shannahan, Tom Landry, Mike Ditka

In college- Ed Orgeron, Les Miles, Gene Chizik, Larry Coker

But in basketball it's like "Ohhh no!"
Exactly this. It's almost exclusive to college basketball. I see nba coaches fired on the heels of winning championships. With NIL being more pay to play vs actually making money on the side and massive coach salaries, the heat should always be on coaches to meet expectations.

I guess Lamb believes one day that Cal will have his own university where he can be loved. I got news for Cal’s guys. Arkansas don’t GAF about any of you. Let’s make that clear. When Cal retires and you all are long gone from playing. We are the only ones who will remember you.

Something long forgotten in our Murican society is how to be gracious when things don't go your way.
Just another example. Lamb could still be "Cal's guy" without taking shots at UK.
Exactly...and he chose the wrong path. He's just the first IMO.

A lot of us knew this day was coming when Calipari left UK. It will be a little uglier than hoped but fortunately, Arky ripped the band-aid off for UK and UK can now move forward without being tied down by Calipari.

Thanks Arkansas!

Lamb was not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, and was flat butt ugly to boot. Probably hasn’t been laid since he was on campus.

Doron should have stayed in school longer and been more prepared for the league, then maybe he would have played longer in the NBA. Our proud tradition has taken a beating the last 5 years and the state of Kentucky cares about that. Kentucky won 7 titles before you, our program’s success didn’t start and end when you came and left.

Shame. Always liked Doron. Not anymore.

Lamb was a great player but that is a ridiculous comment. Does Lamb know UK won 7 titles before Cal? UK was already #1 or close to #1 in everything even before Cal came to UK.

Doron. has always been a little different. He was huge in our title run but honestly has never.been a guy to embrace "la familia". I don't put a lot of stock in his quote because he never seemed to care about Cal, UK, or anything that's not about Doron.

Ain't worth the time worrying about what Lamb thinks because it doesn't matter what he thinks, it's done.
Now if he wants to go to Hog town and babysit a couple of Porky...er Crapapari's pigs then have at it.

I don't care what Lamb or any other Cal player says about Kentucky. Most of them were only around campus 8 months and don't realize we had great teams before Cal.

Some of you might remember that Lamb took a shot at Cal a few years back that was squelched quickly. Some people like to pop off at the mouth.
Yeah. If you ever followed him on social media in the years after he left here you quickly realized Lamb liked to yap and post off the wall, cringe worth stuff on the regular. I wouldn’t put much weight to what he has to say other than it’s clear have these players know nothing of the program they played for bc the pitch wasn’t the historical significance and relevance of being a part of the all time best program but only what Cal had put in the league.

Meh its probably better to say nothing at all but we all knew this.

90% of these guys are going to play for certain coaches. They don't give a damn what school. That's why when coaches leave, most follow.

Lamb is just bitter.
