This is a testament to how big of a joke the NBA is. Guys like Li'Angelo, and some other players not to be named are actually getting a look by NBA scouts is pretty damning.

Not sure why people think this is such a big deal. 100’s of guys get a look every year by 1 or more teams. If he would have played a year at UCLA and his name was Bill Williams and he declared for the draft, teams would have brought him in. It’s the way the league has always worked. Better to bring in too many guys than not enough and miss out on someone.

Maybe he’s not as bad as some people think he is? Seems like he has a nice season of pro ball at the age of 18. Way better than his 5 star little brother

The fact that people are mad about a team working out a guy, not even drafting or signing the guy, just checking him out says the same about them. I mean what kind of person gets mad about another person evaluating their options?

Fans overreacting to something benign? No way. Yeah, NBA teams work out tons of guys, just like MLB and the NFL. One of my former coworkers was a star at an NAIA school in the late 70's and early 80's. The Hawks gave him a workout 4 years AFTER he was out of college. He had bulked up considerably from what he was in college and was destroying competition in a summer rec league which had some current and former mid and low major college players. Somebody told so and so, and that so and so knew so and so with the Hawks. They saw him, and brought him in for a workout. He didn't make it, but it just shows you that teams don't leave stones unturned.

What exactly do yall think a workout consists of? Tons of guys that you've never heard of get workouts, these teams leave no stone unturned. The Lakers worked out Isaac Humphries last year after he averaged 2 points and 2 rebounds a game.

Surprisingly , the NBA is getting more and more popular along with ratings being on an increase.

I agree. NBA is for flat out studs who can ball and specialists who do something very well. Shooting, defense etc etc. Some think the kid could shoot in the NBA. That said, not surprised he's meeting with teams, just don't see him getting too many work outs besides LAL

I would not be surprised if he got another workout, but I care very little about Liangelo Ball and his workouts. I was just saying teams workout all kinds of guys.
