The Carolina Queens take on the Red Raiders this week in what is sure to be a blow out. It's the battle of Lake Wylie vs. Lake Norman.
It looks like the next three weeks games will be three wins by roughly a 162 - 19 score. Tough to watch most of them, although it will be interesting to see how many RR faithful get overconfident during this next 3 game conference stretch plus the probably first round slob usually seen.

It's tough to have to wait a solid month to see a good game, but that is life in Gaston County these days. Maybe BabyHaHa and sprunger99 will have some insight to how deep HH will go into the playoffs, and how a nice easy stretch for SP may make the conference standings tight at the end considering HHs inevitable breakdown game or two they typically have.

That's a lot of talk from someone who's team has just now got back to .500. Yeah yall capitalized on some fv mistakes and things just snow balled from there. But where was that against HH? (I'll wait for those excuses). You talk about the SP fans that will get overconfident after this 3 game stretch, i think you are falling into that catagory yourself. Yall can laugh it off all you want to. But if Huss can't get it done against Cramer this week, you might not want to look to far ahead of that game.

There really are no excuses when you are 20-5-1 against a team in the last quarter century. Glad yall finally won one. I guess that decade long drought left you awfully thirsty. Apparently that's the only game that mattered to you and your other pal there. Hey last night an undermanned Belmont Middle team beat Southwest 8-0 in the semis. Yall got more of that great 'talent' coming up to HH I guess? Speaking of .500....if HH were to win the next 14 games over 14 years against SP....yall still wouldn't be .500 against SP. Cue that second line in Lodi Dodi. You know it.

Nobody put's Baby in the corner......let him post a few more comments and he will put himself there. If the Cramer Carriage is your ride to over-powering SP then your better find some other form of transportation. Uber maybe?
My best suggestion to you would be to round up some Cherryville, Highland Tech, North Lincoln, Lake Norman Charter fans and scrap it out to determine which has the dynasty amongst the bottom feeders.
Suggesting Cramer will upend SP this year puts your theory in to the traditional group of poster seen annually proclaiming the David vs Goliath story but it never plays out. For a change lets call Cramer cockroaches(David). SP(Goliath) feels comfortable stomping a cockroach with no ill or adverse reaction. In other terms the cockroach will not take down the stomper.
Some day Cramer will succeed. Forestview did long after a decade. Just trust when we say "NOT THIS YEAR"..

If only the past counted now and would've given you those six points SP needed against HH. I'm going to laugh when HH takes the conference and y'all lose to SC!

Keep living in the past SP. Gaston county's Cowboys' fans.

BabyHewey / (same guy)UmadBro07,
The past does count. What is past is prologue. SP doesn't need 6 points this year, they're up about 500 points on HH.

What I think is funny: You 3 (??? or maybe 1 lonely fellow with multiple names) are obsessed with that one win HH achieved over SP this year. You always bring it up. Think about it for a second. A random, September conference win in 2016.....the highlight of Hunter Huss football "history". Congrats. Yall should hang a banner, and have a parade. You sure have plenty of clowns over there to be part of the event.

Nope, definitely only have one name. Also, yes I am hyped on that one win, it gets you and the rest of raider nation rolling on the boards.

I'm originally from Illinois, played in a 7A conference, went to JUCO, and coached some in 1A. I love watching ball out here and seeing all of you get your panties in a bunch over games. A bunch of blue collar keyboarding trolls.

I may only have a few posts, but that's because I have something called a job and salary I need to take care of first. I like poking the bear to get everyone fired up and heated for, what I consider, fairly even football play (with the exception of SC, LNC, and EG)

I would love to do what y'all have the resources and connections to do out here, Coach football. Then again I won't have people blaming daddy ball, diming players out, wanting coaches fired, or talking about their past legacy if I give these boards up. Y'all are the best entertainment I could possibly have.

Keep posting and bickering, I'll keep watching.

It's entertaining to us too. The thing that I will laugh about for another week is "fairly even football play". You must have just moved here this year.

You SP people remind me of my 80 year old neighbor that is a die hard Notre Dame fan and is still talking about Johnny Lujack and the "Notre Dame Box." Be glad you don't play the Huskies twice. And for Pete's sake stop pulling out the VHS tape of when you scored 4 touchdowns in the 1982 game against Huss. Go away south pointers your team (much like your offense) doesn't work against good football teams.

All this talk....but yall had better hope you don't see SP again in the same year. 5 point win for HH as one of the best teams in their last 20 years vs. one of the worst teams in the last 20 years for SP?
That offense worked pretty good last year all the way up until the state championship game. How many of those has HH been in lately....or ever?

22wham, Sp would beat Huss the 2nd time around. 4 turnovers and only lost by 5. Huss offense scored once. Seems to me y'all two are mad bc Sp beat y'all team all the time.

What if, and I know this is hard for you to see and understand but what if Huss forced those turnovers? Seems to me that Huss did just what they needed to do to win and SP didn't.

Well I finally agree with you B-Hewey. They did force them. They are a better team than SP this year. But, beyond about a week afterward, the pride should go back in your pocket before Big Daddy lays you over his knee for the next 10-15 years. SP and HHs relationship can best be described as the relationship that JJ had with his dad on Good Times...and HH is JJ. JJ might pop off once every few months, but James Evans, Sr. would smack him back into place whenever he did.

This game has gotten more run the presidential nominees attack ads vs. each other.

Congrats to HH for their win over SP. Credit to HH! That is not our first or last defeat but before HH receives more respect than that they will have to earn it.
You foolish want to be's can't get over the fact SP' recognition is there because they earned it. They have dominated Gaston County football and that is what rips your hearts out. They are a force statewide year in and year out that provokes some of you as well. Lastly "the some of you" can say what you want but in the end SP will continue to dominate and there is nothing you can do to stop it. It is the past, present and future. Learn to like it or get over it.

1st Grader? Please. Y'all in Belmont are oblivious to anything that doesn't favor your team, that you support then trash every year. Just take that L from that pathetic Huss team that y'all personally think you're better than, in every way of life, and move on. I hope players start reading these boards and leave Belmont. I think that'd be best for them personally.

I'd also like to see all of you in person to say it to your faces.

Hoping that SC can beat y'all now, to hear all the excuses. Pretty sure y'all will talk about shutting the program down at that point.

All this crap talk from the Huss and Cramer wannabees. They are playing each other Friday night for the 2A championship in the conference and not one word about this game on this board or the 2A board where it belongs. A lot of bloviating about how good they are this year but not a peep about their game that counts. Meanwhile SP is rolling on to the number 1 seed in 3A and maybe a conference co-championship if Stuart Cramer can actually win a meaningful game.

You are right about the Belmont Middle vs Southwest game........except that the starting Southwest QB (who is one of the better ball players in the county) didn't play because of an injury and they have an offense that passes the ball quite a bit. Southwest ended up playing a 7th grader at QB and couldn't pass the ball. Congrats to Belmont on the win, but don't get it twisted.

Well, well, well... De boer and coon dog don't like "the Hunter Huss" crowd. I wonder why that is? Don't worry you don't have many of "us" to deal with at South Point. As far as middle school games, you better keep talking middle school football because the varsity well has run dry. You guys get used to that Husky barking because you are going to get many more years of it. South point football is going out of style quicker then Coondog's bowl cut.

well it is if you're a black clown. It is also meant to be a race comment if you're a white clown. never knew clowns had a race.

What a surprise. Injecting race into something to attempt to intimidate or make someone back down. In Belmont, if you're an idiot, a thug or a nuisance...you might be any color. Over here where we civilized you are judged by your character and how you live your life. If you are constantly looking for an excuse...you might start to figure out why HH sucks so bad in most sports.

Just returned from the game. LNC is just not a very good team. 48-0 SP with running clock in 2nd half. Best thing is that the JV kids got in some significant time under the Friday night lights. It certainly helps in their development. Missed Tinker tonight and hope to see him back over the next couple of weeks.
