Markowski gives Williams a legit star to build a team around going forward.

They return most of their starting line-up. Freshman Kendall Coley was a consensus Top50 recruit who will play a bigger role going forward. 2022 MN recruit Callin Hake is a prolific scorer and they recently got a commitment from Logan Nissley (2023) an all-around athlete who has already won two ND Gatorade POY awards.

As for Rd1 vs. Gonzaga on Friday afternoon, the teams are pretty evenly matched. I think Nebraska needs to play fast, push the ball, keep Markowski out of foul trouble, Should be entertaining.

If they don't play sloppy... NE 72 vs. Gonzaga 67. Close until late and the Huskers ice it on the line.

Sorry- 9/10. Coley is not going to play and will probably transfer out. She’s had 1.5 seasons and is about 10th in rotation time. Works hard but not strong enough for this league. I’m more excited about the dual sport athlete from Utah. At 6’5” she gives us another threat inside. Hopefully Jaz stays two more years.

Most of their team is sophomores in eligibility. They’ll have a good 2 years. Not sure how many would leave before they have to. Not sure the professional options for women outside of wnba
