I used to watch a lot of women's basketball back when Pat Summitt was coaching at Tennessee but I've watched very little women's college basketball since. Based on other threads on other message boards, a lot of people think that it's bad for the women's game. Having not watched much women's college basketball in many years, I'm kind of on the fence as well as to whether or not it's good or bad for the women's game.

Clearly bad. The sport has already been legitimized (women playing basketball is entertaining) but now it's becoming unwatchable because of the lack in competitiveness. ESPN chose WNBA over NHL

Yep I hear ya, big Summitt fan myself. I follow 3 teams sorta close; Duke (cause it's Duke) Nebraska (used to live there and had a niece play there) and Uconn (obvious). I almost feel that if I had a daughter that was good enough to play at that level that I would want her to try and de-throne Uconn instead of be a statistic there.

Important Note: it's easy for me to say that because I don't have a daughter lol
