One of the top 10 starting rotations, ever...loved me some Saberhagen, but I had never seen that ridiculous commercial. Yikes that was bad!

Saberhagen, Liembrandt (sp?) Jackson, Black....with the Quiz in the pen, man that was fun to watch.
I still remember Charlie leibrandt pitching in the 84 alc against Detroit, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits and pitched a complete game but lost. Still was a gem

What I don't get is how it's being floated out there that Arizona would only realistically get a 3rd round pick for Rosen in a trade. I am nowhere near a Rosen fan, but if I really needed a QB, I'd give up a mid/late 1st rounder for him. He showed enough promise last year with a truly awful OL, in addition to the Cardinals already paying his signing bonus, so you'd get him at a discount. What am I missing?

I'm trying to understand this kid's objective. If he runs 4.3, run it.

I don't think the Tyreek Hill conversion option is what he will do?

A lot of college Qbs won't make the position change, for some reason.

He's even a bigger wildcard at QB now, IMO, and I think he'd be a game-breaking NFL slot. That's why I'd draft him, to be honest. The kid is electric in space.

I'd take Cordalle Patterson over this kid anyday in space with the ball in his hands and he was a complete bust as a first round pick. You can go on and on about guys that are electric with the ball. To take a guy in the first round and hope he can play a position other than the one he currently plays if he cant cut it is crazy IMO.

Patterson just won a Super Bowl and is a fantastic return man. He isn't a #1 wideout. Again, my comparison is Hill from KC, and all I am saying is there is some downside protection.

It sounds to me like the NFL is willing to take a gamble.

Look at guys like Trubisky and how much Chicago was willing to give up to get him. QB the most important position on the field.

All I heard last year was he “best pure qb” and “threw the best ball”. The Cardinals were a dumpster fire last year- so you can’t judge him. Down here in Texas the Cowboys had a young UCLA qb that stunk it up his first year with a bad team and he turned out ok.....Troy Aikman. I personally feel he would be first or second qb taken off the board if we would have entered the draft this year as a senior.

I think that = trade for his *** with a 3rd rounder

Oof. I didn't see a ton of potential from Rosen last year. I get that he was on a terrible team, but he still wasn't impressive at all.

I can see why teams are willing to overlook a lot of things because of potential talent, but if you look at quotes from these two gm's it seems like he doesn't have the mental makeup to be a star.

"I saw his interviews during the Super Bowl and they were awful,” McCloughan says. “Awful. And to be a legit NFL quarterback you've got to have leadership qualities, like Baker. I know we drafted him in Cleveland so I'm probably a little biased, but he controls the room. He walks in and its like, whoa. Watching Kyler do an interview it's like, c’mon guy, what do you got? Give me something.

"Well, he better hope Kingsbury takes him No. 1 because this was not good," Casserly said. "This was the worst comments I ever got on a high-rated quarterback, and I've been doing this a long time. I've probably been doing it longer than you're alive.

"Anyway, leadership -- not good. Study habits -- not good. The board work -- below not good. Not good at all in any of those areas and raising major concerns about what this guy is going to do. Now, people say, we're going to compare him to [Patrick] Mahomes, we're going to run an offense like Mahomes, we're going to run an offense like Baker Mayfield. Well, you can't. ... Those guys are much different. Those guys, you never question about their ability on the board, you never question about their leadership ability, their work habits, they were outstanding in those areas. This guy is not outstanding in those areas. It showed up in the interview."

I can only pray the Cardinals or Raiders take him first so I don't have to worry about the Giants wasting the 6th pick on him.

I'd lose it if my Broncos took him, and I'd really flip out if they traded up to do it.
