Yeah, it was announced a couple minutes ago on ESPN Gameday with the comment "Rutgers has been decimated with injuries".

Too bad, was wondering just how bad it might be and how long it might take to recover after seeing him go out in the USC game.

He's a key cog in that whole can we win 2 more games possibility. If KM is out longer term, hope for that gets quite a bit dimmer.

If the two weeks off didn't help Kyle heal I doubt we'll see him again this season.
Good luck in the NFL, KM.
Exactly, he gave Rutgers all he could. Now it’s time for him to think solely about himself and his future and get healthy for the combine

If he got a concussion, which seemed likely when his head hit the ground on that last hit before he went out, I would think his coming back would depend on the severity. But not being back after 2 weeks, again if a concussion is involved, probably means it's severe enough that I think it's unlikely he'll be back this season. Way too much risk for a young man with a potentially bright future.

Seems the depth of our RB room (probably the deepest position group we have) is going to be tested the rest of the season.

Maybe not "like", but accurate

I hear it's not a concussion. Ribs
That might be better, although I suspect he has had something bugging him most of the season - he’s been somewhat less unreserved about hits, and bruised ribs would explain it, I’ve had bruised ribs and it hurts way more than it sounds. Just breathing can be super painful.

Anyway, no concussion is better for KM and probably the team.

If it was a concussion and you are only giving him 2 weeks or he is gone for the season- that is a crazy take.

I mean, he could be gone but 2 weeks is more the norm than a sign it is worse.

We did okay without that cog so should feel better about chances of snagging more wins in the remaining games.

A blessing in disguise. Am not glad for the injury but with him out the playcalling was more varied.

If not injured, in a close game Schiano would have given him 25 carries instead of increased passing.

In the postgame presser, Greg indicated that he wanted to play today but the medical/coaching staff wouldn’t let him. That does not sound like a player who is done for the season. Let’s hope that he gets better and gives us at least one more game (and a bowl) this year.

We opened the offense up yesterday due to his absence. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

And if he felt good enough to play but it was a doctor decision- then he should be fine by next week.
And if we can open the offense like with did today with KM back there- this offense becomes very dangerous.
From your mouth to God’s ears - lol

Schiano said he was close to playing today and wanted to, but coach had to hold him out for his own safety. Broken ribs he wouldn't be anywhere close to playing in just two weeks. This sounds like a concussion.

I heard he has had bruised ribs for awhile then that there may be a break. I also heard he may only get back on the field if they're
In bowl consideration ,if not he may be out for the rest of the year. Take it for what it's worth, who really knows but I'm pretty sure it's been his ribs all year. I think Schiano was implying that he wants to play badly and that's true but not if he jeopardizes himself further.
