Looks like they're going to breeze through conference play again and claim yet another conference title. Unreal that one program stays on top of a conference for that long. Tip the hat for sure but to the rest of the Big XII ourselves included... wtf

There's always the conference tournament. It's at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Lawrence, Kansas is closer than Morgantown to it, but at least it's not Allen Center, the deathtrap for visitors.
This is a program that has 1 NC in 30 years. This isnt like Bama football, or Duke under K, or even the current Kentucky program, or UNC with Roy Williams. They're a team that routinely gets exposed as a step below the elite almost every March and yet they simply own everyone in this league. Its not even like they just buy up a bunch of OADs, they average a little over 1 draft pick per season. Its inexcusable to be owned by these guys for this long.
It's because they have no peers as a program in this conference. Jayhawks don't win a bunch of titles, but they are a contender more often than not. They have a down year here and there, but are not consistently down. All other Big XII teams are not close to that consistency. Hell, most are not that consistent during a season, much less season in and season out. We have played well enough to compete this year, but have not done it consistently. Absolutely NO excuse for that loss to OU at home and should not have lost to KSU (although more understandable). So their dominance is not completely about how great a program they are, it's also that no one in the Big XII is really stepping up to challenge them.

Bottom teams not doing their part. There are three very good teams and two solid teams. Rest is garbage. Conference will be exposed in the NCAAs again this year.
I'm not knocking them, but it's not like Kentucky is a lock to win the SEC in hoops every year. Winning a conference 11 and now probably 12 seasons in a row is an indictment on the other members of the conference. This isn't an unbeatable program.
I doubt if you know how good the Big8 use to be. In 1988, OU was the national title favorite and lost to an underdog Kansas team in the finals. KState was good back then too. It's not like Kansas is Uconn women. The rest of the league has always been pretty good, I would say you are too young to know the difference. If the league is pretty good and Kansas has dominated, salute Kansas not detract from them.
I remember. Tubby ball was nuts. I'm talking more recently. Big 12 hoops up top has always been solid and in some years great. But now it's a top heavy(3 or 4 teams) conference. The bottom 6 teams suck.
That's why the Big12 has been considered the top conference last year and close second this year. Not exactly what you are implying but Kansas is second in all times wins and there's a pretty good reason why, they're good year in and year out. Unlike Kentucky, they've stayed probation free.
No one considered the Big12 the top Conference after the NCAAs. That tournament was a two week block party for the ACC. Only a homer would not put the ACC above all others last year or this year.

The ACC is so great this year that they have managed a 1-7 record against the B12. That is dominance at it's best.
The only thing that matters in college basketball is winning your conference title and doing well in NCAAs. All the other noise is shouted out by internet geeks like you. The Big 12 is a fine basketball conference. But nowhere near the depth that is in the ACC. There are basically five good teams in Big12 so that's that. Conference vs conference is always an iffy proposition. Not a clean way to determine who's better. Just look at how awful the Big12 was against the pathetic SEC. You won't find many objective individuals saying the SEC is as good as the Big12. Based on your logic I guess you would say that but you're a basketball goof.
