WVU has the biggest home edge of any team. They never get called for fouls up there.

I think fan atmosphere has a lot to do with it.. WVU, Duke, Kansas.. All impossible to get wins at and there's always a gaggle of bad calls there. I think the fans affect this... Because as we learned with Higgins.. Refs are absolute pussies and won't want to piss off the crowd.

Is anyone watching the Above the Rim version of the game on ESPN? It is alright. I didn’t like it at first, but it is nice not having the announcers and hearing all the fans yelling and stuff is kinda cool. Can’t believe they are allowed to play this considering the amount of cussing that you hear. One thing that I do miss seeing are the replays though.

I have Sling and it was just on the guide as: Above the Rim (KU vs WVU). The shot angles are weird at first because the camera is on the goal but it zooms in and out really fast as the ball comes up the court. Almost video game like and the sound is like you are in the crowd. I can hear players talking too.

The channel on sling is espn3. Don’t know if they show the same exact thing on cable/dish.

I thought about re-uping sling.. But i was able to watch most of the games out or at friends.. How do you like Above The Rim? Worth it.. Or more of a once in a while thing?

I really don’t like to not be able to see replays. They show none. That is probably the biggest thing. I don’t know I would want to watch a Cats game like this, but other games it is kind of cool to have a different perspective. You get great views of the timeout huddles, plays under the rim, and inbounds passes. If they could someway incorporate this into having the ability to see replays, I think it would be awesome.

I really like hearing the crowd so well. I can’t believe how similar it is to being at an actual game.

Trying to win at WVU might be the toughest road game UK has had in a few years and easily since the game at KU a few years back. But in the end if we play hard I am good. Its not a conference game . But I don't think we match up poorly with them . I hope we get another chance at KU as even today I have zero doubt we are better today and will be light years better come March.
