The Kentucky of the past 4 games is very close statistically to KU. -3 makes sense if you trust that the Cats won’t revert.

I wouldn’t be, Kentucky is good enough to win, Kansas can win, but with rupp being good tomorrow I think Kentucky plays off the crowd and wins

Agree with everything you said, I hope tomorrow is like the Tennessee game in rupp last year where Kentucky rides the crowd and uses that for momentum.

If we are -3 against Kansas we should be considered a national title contender. For comparison they were +2.5 vs Baylor and -1.5 against KSU. KSU is Top 5 and Baylor surging. I would make it a PK tbh.

-3 UK now. I get it, UK is a projected 11 seed right now. Vegas doesn't factor that stuff into a line. But we all know if UK continues to play the way they have been, can avoid injuries and keep improving that they will not be an 11 seed, they'll likely be more in the 3-6 seed range.

Well, teams currently in line for higher seeds, could collapse, or just lose to had teams.

UCLA just lost to USC, KU is collapsing, Texas is due for a fall and we've seen Purdue collapse under Matt Painter many times.

If UK goes on a run and can get some more Q1 and Q2 wins, they can get a 2 or 3, but a lot would have to happen for UK to get better than a 4

I have a bad feeling about tomorrow. Everything is setting up too good and usually when that happens it goes the other way. Kentucky won at Kansas by 19 last year as a 6 point dog when most people didn't give them much of a chance to win. 2 weeks and 3 days ago Kentucky was losing to South Carolina at home and Kansas was 15-1 and everyone assumed Kansas would blow Kentucky out and Kentucky would been like a 9 point dog at home.
2 weeks and 3 days later Kentucky wins 4 in a row including impressive win at Tennessee and Kansas loses 3 in a row including getting smashed at home by TCU and everyone is thinking Kentucky is going to win tomorrow.
This makes me think a huge letdown is going to happen and Kansas is going to walk out with a win tomorrow and people will be back to posting for Cal's job.

It could happen but it’s up to Cal to have the team prepared like last year. Take care of business and keep the turnaround going.

If they were to win out (which we all know won’t happen), I would bet everything I own as well as everything you own that they would be a 3 seed (or better). You’re telling me if they’re 27-6 or 28-6 that they wont be ranked in the top ten and get at least a 3 seed? They absolutely would. Just think of the win streak they’d be on. You’re talking 17 or 18 straight at that point.

OTOH, if you’re just saying you don’t think they will win out, I would agree with that.

Have only been to maybe 30 games at Rupp over the years. Loudest for me was against Mich St when Prince blocked a shot at the buzzer to preserve the win.

I think this game will tell us exactly who we are. The UT game was big- the rest of the wins weren't surprising. We lose to Kansas (to go along with the other losses) and we just aren't a Top 20 level team. I believe we have a great opportunity to win the game- probably by less than 5 points- IF Oscar and Reeves play to their averages and Toppin/Frederick/Wallace all provide decent production and play good defense. Oh- and we hit our free throws. I am still on the fence about this team. Not really sure we are that good.

Unfortunately no. I have wondered if Cal told a few people in order to get some “love” from Eli and/or Mitch. Don’t know this, but I thought this information would have been leaked by now.
