What does that even mean? Isn't every program trying to keep up with the big boys? They have certainly been one of the big boys and have added some good transfer players. I suspect they would continue to do that regardless of what Cal and other programs are doing.

What does it mean?

there should be no UK fan on planet earth that cannot comprehend what "UKUjr" means, regardless of the amount of cheese the nickname inherits.

They are UK's little step brother. Again, if I have to explain it / not worth the time.

i think dedric lawson is quite good

but the irony is that they lost michael weathers from miami (oh) to ok state. a kid from the state of kansas & probably the best of all the transfers

He has to sit out this year plus the ASU transfer has to sit out unti January. Also the two Memphis guys have to sit out this year as well. So no need to worry about all these guys this November when UK plays them.

Jayhawks will have to do it with only 9 scholarship players in Nov...

I'm guessing he thinks he'll be the next Frank Mason. Good luck. Not sure Bill will be able to replicate what he did this year again. Much of the heralded "adjustment" to his offense was frankly due to how good and versatile Jackson was. Best freshman he's had, but won't get again. That means back to the big man focused offense.

With Dok, Preston and maybe, Tilmon, Self will have the Bigs to play that offense again.

We need to start going after the top grad transfers EVERY year. We should have got the kid who went to Florida and shot 47% from 3 last year. We need to ecome the biggest bullies in college basketball. Andrew White would have helped last season and we would've probably got 9 with him.

I'd like to make fun of this transfer, but I'm having some difficulty finding an angle. Moore is a fairly average athlete and he's short AF, but he does get buckets. Plus, next year's Elite PGs are a bit meh anyway.

Moore + the Lawson brothers provide three, fairly good building blocks for the Chokehawks. I could easily see that crew leading them to yet another early loss in the Elite Eight.

Kansas is going to be very gods for several years. He doing a good job mixing the talent and leadership.
I don't think they will be very gods at all. I think we will be very very good. Still think we get Bamba, Johnson or Knox not both.

I think 2018 is a great class for PG's. UK is in awesome shape with Quickley and Smart who are both ranked in the top 10. We might even end up with both of them!

They need to load up on making it out of the first weekend of the NCAA Tourney with all that talent they have.

Moore is solid but he's small. Definitely a 4 year player. He got a ton of clock (~ 30 min per game) at Cal because they didn't have much else in the back court outside of Bird. Only other option at point was the Berkeley version of Polson.

What is a four year player at Kentucky?

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!
