Honestly if you're down big late you might as well play as physical as possible. Kansas has been great at this under Self.

The worst that can happen is they call a foul, which helps you anyways because it stops the clock.

Luck played a big part in this game especially the overtime, Kansas couldn't miss from 3 point land but couldn't hit the 3 entire game. btw I didn't blame the refs.

West Virginia choked but Kansas made a phenomenal comeback... and I can't stand it. This year's UK team can't do what Kansas did. Maybe it's the youth thing, maybe not. I don't think we would have blown a lead like WV did but as much as I dislike Kansas you have to give them credit. Blame the refs all you want but this one's on WV, not the refs. I wish our guys had the fight that Kansas showed tonight.
Way to use this as a chance to take a shot at our team.
We played a very determined Georgia team without our point guard and 3 point shooting sub and fought back and one. Everyone wrote them off early in the first half. Seriously i am truly sick of you agenda driven band wagon fans.

Well **** no we wouldn't. Doesn't KU start 2 Senior Gaurds? That goes a long way. Another reason I think we should slightly modify our recruiting.

Amazing simply amazing. So many times if that was a Kentucky game there would been fouls called on both sides where no calls made here.

Huggins play to end regulation was a joke. There was no play. If you are going to call a time out to set up something and let teh defense get settled why just heave a 23 foot shoot.

The big kid Adrien lost the game for WVU. Every time he would step out of bounds and let the KU defense get set before trying the throw in. Huggins gets the blame for that too. After a made basket or FT you throw it in immediately (as your guy breaks to the baseline).before the defense can get set

And why should we alter recuriting? Remind me how many FFs and NCs does KU have since Calipari arrived at UK....hmmmmmm....hmmmmmm.....hmmmmmm.....i guess all those senior guards helped them lose to UK in 2012, and flame out almost every year in the tournament.

I love how UK struggles for a few games and every fan forgets the success UK has had since Calipari has been here.

WV totally screwed that game up. Up by 14 with 2:45 to go and missed a couple of free throws but more importantly turning the ball over underneath their own basket multiple times for easy scores.

Biggest play of the game IMO was the free three points KU got to pull them within 9 after a blatant push in the back from Lucas was not called and gave them another shot. That was just over two minutes to go and was the first three they had hit and gave them life.

73 total fouls called tonight and KU has 33 out 44 from FT Line and Mason goes 3/13 from the field and 2/6 from 3 and hits 16/18 Free Throws tonight for 24 points. Graham hits 5 3's and they were hit less than 2 minutes in the game and in overtime. Besides blowing a 14 point lead with a little over 2 minutes to play WVU misses FT's and has 3 or 4 turnovers to have KU comeback. If I was WVU fans I would be screaming at Huggins. There is no way for 38 minutes you totally outplay KU on their home floor and let them comeback from 14 down. I hear a lot Kentucky fans blaming the refs and I agree they go to the line 44 times and make 33 but you can't have 3 or 4 turnovers and missed Free throws in last 2 minutes of play. This was a perfect chance for Huggins to sweep the Jayhawks and both times should have been soundly beaten by WVU!

Jackson didn't touch his feet to the ground before his butt, and was receiving a pass. Monk fell down with possession and tried to roll with it like a globetrotter.

24 pts on THREE field goals. Nowhere but that arena.
In Conference games this year at Rupp, UK is averaging 9.8 more free throws per game than their opponent. Conference road games, UK has taken the exact same amount of free throws as their opponents.

Kansas, in home conference games this year has taken 5.74 more FT's than their opponents. In road games, KU has taken 2.77 fewer free throws than their opponents.

But don't let the facts get in the way of the KU gets all the breaks and UK plays against 8 every game mindset.

If anyone was watching the game the timeout that Self called with over 2 minutes to play the Jayhawks looked tired, outplayed, and beaten. Then KU goes 14-6 with a minute to tie to go to overtime. The last shot when tied 71-71 was a terrible 3 from WVU. With 2:43 to play in the game Kansas ends Regulation on a 19-7 run to get to Overtime for the Win. The 3 late turnovers were horrible for WVU.

Kansas isn't going very far in the NCAA tourney. Probably Round 2 and out. Maybe Sweet 16.
Not impressed.

They won't be playing in Lawrence in the tourney!
