Not really shocking I guess.
Not really shocking I guess.
Gotta be Josh Jackson
You’d think they would seeing as how Grayson didn’t breath too hard on anyone todayIt's a shame ESPN is not picking up on this.
Are you for real? "As long as we left no evidence...." "...at least a few of our players got some cash...." Damn dude, that's a very cynical take. Welcome to my Ignore List.As long as we left no evidence that we were aware of any payments that Nike’s agents made to our players, I think it turns out fine for us. I feel like at least a few of our players got some cash through a third party, because supposedly everyone was getting paid. I just hope the coaches stayed out of it.

Great Duke yet again lost to a team in the elite 8 that might end up getting vacated. SMH!Well we already know Adidas, not Kansas, paid Josh Jackson.
In this report, Silvio de Sousa is definitely one of them and the other is either Billy Preston or Marcus Garret
Well first off, doesn't matter if Duke knew, any games played with an ineligible player would be vacated. Maybe you meant sanctions, in which case, yeah, those wouldn't apply.Duke wouldn't be in trouble if the players received money from the shoe companies, unless they collaborated with the companies (highly, highly doubt). KU won't be in trouble for Adidas giving money to Josh Jackson. NCSU will be in trouble since Gottfried worked with Adidas to secure the commitment of DSJ.
Him saying "at least a few of our players got some cash" could be true and probably is the way these reports are going saying basically every top recruits gets paid from secondary sources.

And second, I'll be shocked if any of our recruits / their families are implicated in anything intentional and knowingly against the rules.
We'll see but I'm not the least bit nervous.
100% incorrect. The rules became much stricter after the Cam Newton debacle of "my parents did it, i had no clue"If it can be proven the school didnt know, this happened before college and the players are no longer there, nothing will be vacated. See Corey Maggette.
So would you describe yourself / UNC as the pot or the kettle?Wanna good laugh. This is from a random Woofie on one of their boards.
"Who cares if it's not a good look. I have been a NC State fan for over 50 years(yes I am old). I am tired of effing losing. So we cheated, why the hell wouldn't we cheat with what we have to compete with???? Two of the biggest cheating programs in America. Hell, I am glad we finally stepped up and tried to get on the same level with UNC and Duke. So we look bad????????? Okay, now we are joining the elite of big schools that look bad. UNC, Duke, Michigan ST., Ohio St. Penn St, USC, Auburn, and the list goes on and on. In today's world if you don't cheat you are going to lose. I want to win something of importance just one more time before I die, so I don't think my school is bad, I just think they are trying to survive in today's world."
Some serious denial here. It’s not just a river in Egypt.Wanna good laugh. This is from a random Woofie on one of their boards.

Hopefully espn learned to gather facts before making accusationsIt's a shame ESPN is not picking up on this.
I was wrong. Looks like it’s Preston and DeSousa.Gotta be Josh Jackson
ESPN finally reporting. KU is calling itself a victim in the article....

Not the first time KU has had some shenanigans with players. Billy Preston and Silvio De Sousa are allegedly the players in question. Preston had some issues this season (let's call it "car trouble" and sat until he left). KU had to have known some shady stuff may have been going on.

It really is a kick in the nuts! Second time this has happened.Do we get to beat Kansas and play Villanova now?
It started way before then. I had friend whose dad's car dealership loaned cars to players in the 80'sSo speaking of the Cheaters, I've been thinking/wondering who triggered the need for facilitating easy/no-show classes? I can't help but speculate it started with Rasheed Wallace. This article from the Washington Post states that Wallace had an SAT Score of 690 (https://www.washingtonpost.com/arch...10a-8358-7b2f7b9d2e6b/?utm_term=.9f1d1ff99d82). Impressive.
So which other shoe company is paying players? This article says at least one of them is....
Damn, you get a 690 just by spelling your name correctly.......never mind.So speaking of the Cheaters, I've been thinking/wondering who triggered the need for facilitating easy/no-show classes?
