Well, we’re down one instead of up one at the half but if we can come out in the second half and play like we did the first 10 minutes we should be ok. I’m hoping KSU doesn’t get hot from three like OSU did late.
Korita hit a 3 to go up 23-17 with a little over 8 minutes to go. And just one free throw made by Taplin the rest of the way..
Taplin should have thrown the ball and hit Bruce Weber in the arm once he got to around 4 seconds on that 5-second call throw in. He had one foot solidly out on the court and was waving his arms around calling for the 5-second call.
Also, Bruce must not have gotten the memo that as of 2016 there’s no more 5-second call when the player is dribbling. He was freaking out when Joiner was posting up on the guy at half court just dribbling the clock out.

Neither team is shooting well but I’m not happy with 5-9 from three and since one was the front end of a 1-1 it might as well be 5-10.
Except we are also a poor outside shooting team and every time we try to take it inside we turn it over
We’re down 1 at half to the #16 team in the country. Shut the hell up.
K-state games are almost always this way. We have to out tough them and hit a few shots. There's a reason they were in the elite 8 last year.
Their man to man defense is really tough. There’s just no space for anyone and when we do find space none of our guys can hit the water from the boat.
Right now we’re static when it comes to rebounding. KState has been aggressive at going and getting the ball in both ends. At the end of the game, that is going to make the difference if we come up short
Now we are playing like really bad. Turnover turnover, watch on defense, turnover.
