What do you think so far? Myron Medcalf was great. Aaron Torres was good. He's not my favorite but I can listen to him. The guys today are awful. I made it through 2 minutes. I cannot listen to their nonsense.

Was it he pardon my take guys, some people love those guys, I can't stand them. Their brand of humor is about as funny as watching paint dry.
Agree totally. I get what they try to do but it's not for me.

I work a desk job, goofy UK sports talk that I don't have to pay close attention to is fun
The PMT guys are some of the funniest in the business. They usually don’t mesh well with UK listeners because we don’t take jokes too well.
I haven’t listened to today’s thing. But their podcast isn’t just random sarcasm.
Though I will add- their target audience is much younger, so you get more juvenile stuff. And if you aren’t into football it’s probably not for you.
You know what I do when I don't like a radio show? I don't listen to it. Problem solved.
Today wasn't their best effort but the PMT podcast is as good as it gets.

I was an everyday listener back when PMT first hosted KSR and the obvious sarcasm they were pushing was terrible. Haha yeah Cal pays players, yadda yadda. We get it’s a joke, it just isn’t funny

Torres and Medcalf were really good. I hadn’t really heard much of Medcalf on the radio. I’m a fan.
Sounds like they aren’t as good outside their home turf. But it’s better when you listen with a different perspective, knowing their humor.
As several have said Medcalf was very good. Torres good. I turned off today after about 2-3 mins. Just not my cup of tea. I listen to KSR every day because I enjoy it. But I don’t care for the guys from today.
Medcalf has been the best so far. Torres sucked. PMT guys were even worse. Their act might be funny the first time, but when you keep doing the same joke over and over it just gets old. Not to mention they let some crackhead woman talk for an entire segment towards the end of the show, making all of Kentucky look bad basically.
Medcalf was good. Torres was OK, but too much time plugging his site. I also listened today for 3 or 4 minutes and turned it off.
I do, occasionally. Nothing else going on during the daytime (I work at night). I like Jason Anderson at 3, but has some eccentricities that irk me, as does Jones. Don't listen to anybody religiously, but don't see anything wrong with it.

I prefer listening to updates and news about the actual sports going on. Today's broadcast was mostly about ghost stories and therefore, I turned it off fairly early on. There is a plethora of news coming with football practices and basketball practices getting ramped up, so I was hoping to hear more about that.....not sure what was going on today.
I rarely listen in the summers when MJ takes his vacations. Gives me a nice break from it and I'm ready to listen again once they all get back.
I did turn it on yesterday for about 10 seconds at the start of the 2nd hour with Myron Medcalf and he began by talking about the Cleveland Browns, so I instantly turned it off. I'm sure it didn't go on for a while, but those ESPN guys, no matter who they are just can't go 5 minutes without mentioning NFL Football, which I hate. The Pardon My Take guys are awful. I'll never listen to those clowns.

When MJ goes on vacation he does a good job of scheduling a wide range of people. Football people, basketball people, random topic people. No one will like all of them, that's not the point. No matter who it is there will be a thread of complaints, that's the only constant.

One of the best episodes ever was when a bright light splashed into lake Havasu and military helicopters showed up at 2 or 3 a.m.,and took the light out of the water. Of course, a lot of people were saying it was a UFO. The guest on coast to coast who was sort of an expert said that the government had splashed a new Chinese satellite and were looking into where they were with their technology.
That must have been the follow-up show or follow up hour that I missed.
I'm not sure I've ever heard Georgie on there.
