I hate Cal and I hate Matt Jones. Both are absolutely terrible for our program. Can’t wait for his snarky *** to tell us how we’re supposed to feel while complaining about how big of a financial hit the bar is gonna take. He’s not a good look for the fans and he is just using you all.

Like the excuse you people use for keeping Cal, what else am I going to listen to? I’m a UK fan, of course I listen. I bet this guy still laughs at Ryan Lemond pep talks.

The first time I listened to Matt Jones in at least 5 years was last night - and I got as far as about 2 minutes into the first caller, Roscoe, and shut it down.(and I did it only because someone provided a link to the show)

If you extend his logic even a tad further, he’s bad for the program because he listens to KSR, so he’s enabling them.
I don't care for Matt or listen to/read/watch KSR, but blaming them for Kentucky's dip in quality over the last 6-7 years makes no sense. It's the equivalent of saying fans shouldn't have been looking ahead to the next game, which has no impact whatsoever on the mindset of the coaches or players.
I’ve always wondered why Matt gets such a bad wrap. I enjoy the show, but I don’t listen for their analysis on sports. They are pretty entertaining and I enjoy the non sports days more than when they talk about sports. They are pretty clueless when it comes to football and basketball so I’m not sure why everyone gets so tore up over what they say. If you don’t like it, don’t listen. If you let his opinion tear you up that’s on you
The fact he's a flaming liberal hurts. And as you say they are clueless on sports really. I dn't like much about them, but really admire what he's built
I used the website for news for a few years, listened to the show here and there (prefer music). Don't do either nowadays.
Just to clear things up, I listen because I happen to be in the car every day at the time that it comes on. No chance I would go out of my way to listen. Some stuff they do is good, most is cringe worthy. Not saying they are the reason we suck, that’s clearly Cal. But they absolutely are to blame for Cal’s attitude towards fans in general. It definitely would not hurt the program if they went away, all I’m saying.
You can’t find something else to listen to on your way to work? I believe if I had such a disdain towards something I could find something else on the radio at that time lol

And he’s done wonderful things for charity the whole time. I cannot and will not take that away
that being said. His ego has overcome his common sense. The game has passes him by; he’s too stubborn to change. It’s time for him to go. We need a fresh start

I (used to) love this program more than anything. I’m hanging on by a thread at this point so yes, I’m still gonna listen to a UK themed radio show, even if the host is just as much of a used car salesman sleezbag as our coach.
Today will be a **** show, but good for the soul. Matt won't sugarcoat anything for Cal.
Matt tried to teeter totter on the fence last night. He was willing to criticize Cal but you could tell he didn’t want to go full bore on him just to maintain the relationship so Cal will come on one day every summer.
You won’t even be able to bring Cal on the show this summer, the internet will explode with Cal hatred with every word he speaks.
