I went for the first time Saturday after College Gameday and here is my review: (honestly)

Atmosphere /feel: Think Buffalo Wild wings except its ALL Kentucky. Its full of UK memorabilia.

Food: man, I was honestly shocked how good it was. I expected normal sports bar food. Not only was it better, it was MUCH better. The portions were huge. My chicken sandwich had 2 huge chicken patties on it. The baked beans were easily, easily the best i've ever tasted, and the chicken wings were enormous. Most chicken wings are tough on the ends/edges, not these, they were moist and delicious. You have a bunch of sauces to choose from, and then there are 4 sauce bottles on the table. All good. BUT the winner is hands DOWN the KSR Sauce. Tryst me, try it. Its not hot, not mild, its perfectly in between, its smoky flavored and very similar to the good sauce at Roosters.
We also got the buffalo shrimp appetizer, it was so good we got a second one.

The atmosphere was great, service was great. But the actual food is the winner at this joint. Its honestly, extremely good, and HUGE portions. Mist of the menu is $10 or less like a Chillis or applebees,

If I have to be honest, I spent the majority of the post speaking highly, and deservedly so. So, if I had to nick pick and find a negative, here it is..... The bathrooms are tiny. The mens room has 2 urinals, and ONE stall. I made 3 trips to the bathroom before I got in. Its the size of a small gas station bathroom, lol.

But guess what? Go before you show up, and you will be like me and say that KS Bar and Grille is now OFFICIALLY the BEST Restaurant in Kentucky. Its WELL worth the trip.

I'm scoring it a SOLID 99%
the -1% being on the pencil d!ck size men's room. lol

Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is similar to what I have heard from everyone that has been. People seemed impressed with the quality and quantity of food. Glad to hear it’s good and doing well. I’ll have to try it next time I am in Lexington.

You had to go to the bathroom three times before even getting in? That sounds like something you should get your doctor to check out.

My aunt and Uncle went during a game and said the food was really good for the money and the atmosphere was off the hook!

It’s Matt’s bar. Surprised it wasn’t men in speedos.

Haters gonna hate.

Went once. Probably be a while before I go again. Not waiting that long. Got there 2.5 hours before the Florida football game, and was told it was a 2 hour wait. Got seated in 45 minutes. An hour later, heard them telling people it’s a 4 hour wait. All in all, it was the best atmosphere I’ve ever been in for a UK game. We won, and Ryan Lemond was spraying people with champagne from the top of the sports bar. Every UK fan needs to go at least once.

Alright, back to the neck wringing.

I went a couple times early on and didn’t love the food. It wasn’t bad by any means, but for the price Winchell’s is a much better option imo. I do look forward to going back and trying some different things, so my tune may certainly change. I like that it’s doing well.

Been twice.

1st time was a 10/10. Went on a weekday, and service/food was outstanding. I got the regular burger and fries, girlfriend got boneless wings (sweet thai chili). Got an app of fried pickles. Everything was delicious.

2nd time was the Sunday after the Georgia football game. Took the parents who were in town for the game because we were so impressed the 1st time around. Bit of a disappointment. Boneless wings were still great, as were the mozzarella sticks (or logs I should say), but they were out of several menu items (it was like 1:00 on a NFL Sunday, no excuse for that). I really wanted the chicken and waffles, but nope, they were out of it.

I got the same burger, except it wasn't the same quality as before. Different/cheap buns that were not fresh and even the beef didn't seem as fresh. Totally different than the burger I had only 2 weeks prior.

Waitress said they had just gotten absolutely slammed the day before for the Georgia game, which is expected, but they obviously didn't adequately plan in regards to food stock, and were already out of things at 1:00 the next day with NFL games starting. Obviously had to make a run to a store for some buns just so they could still serve a burger to customers.

Yet, got charged the same prices as the 1st trip.

Anyway, rant aside, they do have tremendous boneless wings and I will never go to Buffalo Wild Wings ever again for wings, as KSbar and Roosters are both superior in taste and quality of the wings.

Bdubs is total garbage for food. If you aren't hungry it's ok
