I grew up in Cordova Alaska, Kodiak is a cool place. Been there quite a few times as a stop on longline trips out west. Also, farmed fish is bad for your health! Get the good stuff, it’s worth it.

Years ago, I used to have a very good customer in Kodiak. Big regret is I never took him up on his invitation to go see him there. Only saw him when he came to Seattle. He always wanted me to bring my brittanies up with me so I could hunt ptarmigan. He said I would have great hunting, but I was afraid I would come back without any bird dogs given all the bears on the island.
