I wish he was more of a distributor instead of shoot first (and maybe second and third). I'm definitely fine with having him back, he can get on a roll scoring.

I'm just fine with him not distributing the ball to guys that don't shoot as well as he does. He can penetrate and dish and he did that plenty this past year. It's kind of hard to get assists though when the guy you pass it to is shooting under 30% from the field.

You remember him penetrating and dishing? I don't, or surely not plenty. In his defense most of the season he played limited minutes and probably felt like when he was in he wanted to get his. Almost everyone on offense looked better after Teddy left. Seems like everyone agrees we need a true point, it also seems like Webster could provide a lot more in that department if he was so inclined. Again, I'm glad he's back.

Webster is an asset, I assume Fred wants him to lay off his mid range though.

this news pleases me

Webster is a good player and should make everyone around him better after a tough year in the B1G

this will not be a 9-bid league every season

kind of off topic, but curious what you guys think:

any chance we can back into a mid-level non-con tournament next year? we're always an indomitable duo of lose-lose in terms of quadrant/RPI in that teams have literally nothing to gain by scheduling us, but perhaps Bryce's signing bumps us up on the desirable opponent rankings before we even step on the floor in 2021/22?

I'd love to see it, and we need to play (and win) those games outside of the B1G if we want to build a resume, especially knowing .500 in the league is a tall order

Yes I do. His job though when he catches it on the perimeter is to look to shoot first. IF he couldn't get a good look he drove IF their appeared to be a lane.
