I've caught a few punts in intramurals. It's not easy and it's not fun. Can't imagine trying to catch one from an SEC punter in front of 80,000 people.

Its a different thing but that certainly doesn't mean he can't do it. I eould be surprised if we don't see him start catching a few punts. And I'm sure he will be targeted more and more as the year goes on. He always seems to get 3 yards after contact at a minimum. Very exciting player thats a threat every touch

I was at the LSU game--tied at half--Young ran kick-off back and we killed them the second half. One of the many games Bond beat the corndogs.

Glen is on my "all time" State team when it came down to sheer talent. He was a hell of an athlete.

Well he is a WR by trade. Catching the ball is supposed to be a plus in his skillset. Now I will give you the fact that catching it with a guy ready to ram you is a bit different but you can always fair catch the ball. Just seems he would have the potential to run one back at any time which I don't really see from Walley or especially Williams.

We had an open date between the games that gave us extra time to celebrate. I missed the bama game because of a work conflict despite having a ticket (which I still have) so I was dang sure not going to miss any more. We did open up a can in the second half on LSU which started a streak of 4 straight against the tigahs. We actually played LSU in Starkville the next time we were the home team in the first ever night game at Scott Field.

I attended that game...

in 1980. I remember beating the Tigahs in the 2nd half...fun times.
