Knox case ended with a plea deal with charges being dropped to disorderly conduct and gets 1 year probation, if he doesn’t mess up in the next year it can be wiped from his record, glad that’s over with but I wonder if probation will limit his travels for tournaments or training

judge was a former wrestler which may have helped

I feel like it wouldn’t be difficult for a judge to sign off on his situation, though I’d imagine the bigger issue would be if he’s traveling internationally then other countries could reject his stay.

I have no legal background but it would depend on the terms of the probation. According to our Google friend, if the probationer does have travel restrictions, they can apply for exceptions. Being this is a simple disorderly conduct plea, I'd be somewhat surprised if there is a travel ban, especially in the states. It's probation, not parole. Even Red was allowed to travel freely in the US while on probation and wasn't in violation of his parole until he crossed the border into Mexico.

I would think probation for a disorderly conduct is much more lenient than probation for a felony.
I would be surprised if there were any limitations on travel, but i do not know the justice system

If NJ probation works the way it did 15 yrs ago ( I had a lot of adventurous friends growing up) then yes travel is limited and you need permission and need to notify to leave the state. Alot of probation officers probably don’t care bc they are over worked and handle too many people at one time but I had a friend on probation that was wrestling JUCO and he needed permission for every out of state tournament or dual or he risked being violated.

he landed a takedown immediately, then it became very clear that RBY was way too strong for Knox...

(thats what it looked like to this non-expert :) )

Also the last point RBY got was nonsense Knox was grounded for like 10 seconds before the pushout.
