I’d love to have a former player coaching. Chaney is currently on Mullens staff

Not sure I want a guy with no on-field coaching experience coaching a position group. But I would be OK with it if the rest of the defensive position coaches stay solid and we don't lose any more.

Checking his record there, looks like he did a good job there. I'm definitely on board with this hire now.

Would be pretty cool if we could make this work but I would want it to totally be Bob and Joes decision. I do see some added value of having a former player on staff, they might as well. We just do not know what their other options are.

Love Jamar, but we need to stop with this non sense. We are an SEC west football program. You don’t just hire a guy because he loves your school. He isn’t qualified to coach linebackers in the sec or recruit in the sec. I keep seeing people say we need to bring him, J banks, and Boobie D on staff. That’s absurd . None are qualified. We aren’t a training school for coaches.

Orlando would be an awesome hire as a position coach. Was one of the hottest DCs out there prior to the Texas' Tennesseeish black hole.
