Hester does not appear on the Pitt roster at this time, and his twiter has been inactive for a while. Not sure what's going on with Hester.

He has to graduate from Rutgers before he can start at Pitt. He probably needs the spring semester to complete his requirements. Pitt would be unable to add him to the roster until he matriculates.

I wish him well but he has moved on.Having said that Ash concerned about Harris going bye bye because we are light in the D backfield.

I remember when they started to put him in. I was HS so I didn't total get what was happening, but it sure felt like the only reason he was playing was the name on the back of his Jersey.
Major Applewhite was a hell of QB.

Austin, Wharton , Avery (OSU Recruit having a great Spring so far), Damon Hayes , S Hampton, S Gray, Tank Lopez is not light.
I actually think Hester saw his playing time decreasing and he decided to leave.
RU really needs 8 god DBs to man the 2 deep. You only mentioned 7 and I am not sure you can count on Tank Lopez to contribute yet as he has never played collegiate ball. The starters look good (and could be the strong point for our defense) but the depth is definitely a question mark.
Wasn't Hester supposed to have an "in" with all the recruits in NJ and help us get over the top? so much for that.
We’re light at safety guy. I think Ash has even said this himself. Lopez hasn’t proven anything btw.
Coach speak always downplays Positions in the Spring.
We have also have the JUCO transfer from AZ who played at USF and had a recent offer from Oregon. Dixon is a big Safety who turn heads at Rutgers.
