You're right, he was NOT covered up, hence it was a perfectly legal play. I watched the replay to see what Kirk was whining about, and the WR that was further down the line was clearly off the LOS, hence a perfectly legal play.

Boy, I've been swayed by your clearly superior logic. Think what you want, I went back and watched the play WR appeared to clearly be off the LOS, so I had to watch it two more times to make sure I wasn't missing something. Clearly, the ref agreed.

Explain to me what I'm missing then. Watched it again, still see nothing wrong. Legal formation, Carter wasn't covered so he's eligible. What am I supposedly missing?
