Iowa is infinitely better than Nebraska up-front and this guy's talking about speed. 🤣

There's a reason Iowa beats Nebraska every year.

Their best chance is Iowa is down a bunch of lineman and that still probably won't be enough
You’re bragging that Iowa beats a mediocre football program. That’s what we’ve been trying to tell you.

Not bragging about anything.

Was calling out the stupidity of fans that for some reason think Nebraska will beat Iowa.

I just don't see where that thought process comes from, especially considering Iowa has the same advantage that has been allowing them to beat Nebraska every year

Yeah, reading the tea leaves tells me maybe this is his curtain call season…🤷‍♂️
Yeah that's why I am asking the Q... it was really bizarre, I think he was emotional in '17 when we pick 6 the first play against O$U, but I get that. Yesterday just seemed very strange... Kirk has repeatedly stated that he intends to keep coaching when asked, maybe something changed??

The 2nd half yesterday to me was a top 5 disappointing moment we have had under KF. Maybe only O$U 2009 was worse when he played for OT...

I called this crap when he went to halftime saying hopefully we can keep long possessions. He fricken chickened out yet again instead of taking it to the other team. This one’s on Kirk. Pathetic effort from him today.
I immediately thought the same thing. It’s in his DNA - get a lead, go conservative, try to bleed the clock. Hawk fans are not alone ….opponents sense it also… and very soon you can literally feel the game once again slipping away.

He’s going to put an entire half on a defense that has been suspect against good wr’s all year. That’s what he was banking on. Just no sense of urgency from him until it’s too late.

Well, I've profited 5 figures so far betting football this season, so my football acumen seems to be just fine.

Additionally, Iowa has been my most profitable team
Wld certainly like to see you join the spread pick-ems tournament on here next year so you can publicly demonstrate your expertise. I'd really like to see how an expert bettor like yourself can completely demolish the others on this board.

Laat year the offense managed to get 5 total 1st downs. Looks more promising this year but both teams have issues.

He was just proud his team showed up to play after the heartbreak of last game

Against ranked teams KF’s balls shrivel up even more and he and his team always piss games down their legs. It’s become a joke
Oh really? Woodshed? 2019 Minnesota? 2021 Penn St? 2016 Michigan?

these were all top 10 teams you fool!!

Other thanTim Dwight.
One guy dies not = speed.
A John Deere won’t beat a sprint car around a 1/2 mile. Speed kills. Those late Evy teams exemplified “speed”…. Different game then (one platoon, limited substitution) but Iowa’s team speed compared to opposition, in those days was top tier.
And today still, “Speed kills!” The big advantage the SEC and old PAC 12 schools enjoy over B10.
