I lost all respect for the KHSAA when they started putting the 6th and 7th Region champions on the same side every year just because they don't want an All Jefferson County final. Same as it is with football...ridiculous. It should be the best 2 schools in the finals, not a "let's make sure a state school is represented" finals.
The bracket draws are random. IMO, I've lost respect for them because the 2 louisville schools, the lexington schools and the northern Ky schools are NEVER placed in the Thursday night bracket. IMO, I believe it's fixed. I'd like to see those schools along with the Owensboro region, the Bowling Green region and the Oldham Co region put in the same bracket. I'd go to that tournament.
Probably wouldn't be good to have an all j-county final. Attendance would be poor.

What I said is all I know right now.. That JBS has info that can prove both of those guys are ineligible to be playing.. They have went from 2 Knott Co schools,, Cordia and JBS and Perry Central in last 2 years or so..

Is Cordia the one where Rhodes was at and got in trouble?[/QUOTE]
Yeah.. Rod brought Tobler and Perry's other big in but think Tobler ended up at Hazard,, then JBS and now Perry..

The semi finals were very good tonight.

Scott was up on Bowling Green in the final seconds until the 8th grader hit a go ahead basket with 20 or so seconds. Scott had a chance to win but missed it. Bowling Green hasn't lost since December 20.

Cooper surprisingly defeated Fern Creek by seven.

State championship is tomorrow: Bowling Green vs Cooper.

Scott vs Bowling Green was an incredible semi final game. Most of the crowd was pulling for Scott and it was very loud. Scott had one last driving shot at the rim to win it but the shot was too high and hard and didn't have a chance. 1 point win, 80-79 for Bowling Green. From all the games I watched I felt that was the real championship game as I can't see it being any better than that one. Sure wish Scott had pulled off that last shot. Can't see Cooper staying with Bowling Green but who knows.

Personally, I'm glad that Scott County lost. They need a new school due to overcrowding, but have refused to do so because their talent would be split. I've even heard they are trying to build a new high school but allow those students to play on the same team.

Hate Scott County and their attempts to skirt the system. Every other county splits their schools.

Honestly, I think Cal should look at the Ohmer kid from Covington Scott as a preferred walk-on. Always is nice to have a Kentucky kid on the roster, and although the talent level here isn't what it used to be, I think this kid is worth a look. I heard he is committed to Cumberlands so he can play basketball and baseball both, but I am sure a call from the Wildcats could change that awfully quick.

I love the state title game. In the 90s there were so many dud title games but there have been some really good championships the last 10 or so years.

I was at that Christian County and Rowan County buzzer beater game. That's also the one that Rowan should have won in regulation but the refs incorrectly called a three a two.

Bowling Green won the state title by 11, I think. Can't believe we saw an 8th grader win the MVP.

Crazy.

Also, can someone tell me what the "H" stands for in Bowling Green's logo?
