I believe Coach Frost has issued a statement which basically says that Nebraska supports the one games suspension… that's what I heard on the radio. If true, that pretty much ends the matter. He may comment on it later but a statement of approval limits how much he can argue. Perhaps he can explain more clearly what specific conduct was involved - that is a bit murky.
My guess is he took exception to #71 taking a cheap shot at Barry. Davis wound up on top of#71. Probably gave him the business

If anyone doesn’t believe that the big 10 doesn’t have a issue with Nebraska should wake up now. Totally garbage. Everyone complained about Texas in the big 12 we’ll Ohio st,Michigan and throw in Wisconsin for good measure those are the teams that are babied by the conference.

The Big Ten is a good ole boys club and they don't even try to hide it, heck just ask PSU fans. Everyone in the world can see it, except maybe that troll arguing with me on this board Saturday.

Meanwhile the Buckeye DB who dived at Martinez's knees when he was five yards out of bounds gets no further punishment. There was a personal foul flag on that play, but it amazes me how college football picks out certain things for which it will drop the hammer, while ignoring others.
That kind of thing happens all the time. Really nothing egregious about it. If it was a punch however, that should earn a suspension. On one of Ohio State's scores I saw one of their players give what looked like a punch near the goal line. Should probably send that one in to the Big 10 and get one of their players suspended.

I saw the same play it sure looked like the Ohio st player threw a punch, I always thought if you throw a punch that’s a automatic ejection

Glad you think there’s nothing egregious about diving at a player’s knees after a play is over, but I’d much rather be on the wrong end of a punch than that kind of crap. The refs did at least throw a flag, but that type of cheap shot is way more likely to end a player’s season than a punch. NU lost a TE for the year on a similar play against BYU a couple of years ago, and it wasn’t even flagged.

I don't think he was purposely diving at his knees. When you have players that are actually coached to play hard through the whole play, a late hit out of bounds will happen once in awhile. I wouldn't mind if we got a few of those penalties if we had the same attitude.

Believe it was sometime in the 3 quarter, my wife didn’t see it so I ran it back, it was in the end zone, on the tv screen it was on the bottom right
K. I will look for it. I haven't made it out of the first half

The PSU where no one knows how many children were molested and just a few years later they’ve got all their scholarships back and compete for championships like it never happened?

Yeah, those PSU fans really have a point. They’ve had it so rough.
OK, that seems relevant (sarcasm). How about Nebraska going 20+ consecutive league games without an opponent called for a holding penalty? Probably some reason we deserve it to, right?

Right at the end of the video where Mo Barry is getting tossed like a rag doll - Davis punches the OSU player

Didn't realize Khalil Davis struck an Ohio St player?? Nothing was talked about on 1620 or in the paper either. Maybe I missed. This sucks!
Im
F@83 that! That’s BS.
There’s a face mask penalty in the beginning of the 3rd quarter (1459 mark) that I’m watching on Illinois against us, on Wan’Dale returning the kick off that doesn’t get called against them that should’ve been called, and they did nothing.
They just pick and choose in this league...
What about Spielman getting drilled in the head playing IL.

Have any other players been suspended by the Conf. Other than Caveman and Davis? I’m sure they have I don’t remember though.

Nebraska’s defense really hasn’t given teams any reason to hold lately?

:)
There were multiple plays and at least one long TD run where OSU's linemen had our DTs by the outside of the pads turning them and keeping them from making a play. That's holding in every rulebook I've ever seen. OSU has enough talent to win without it but if the zebras are going to let them do that, a defensive lineman has zero chance. None.

Good opportunity for some younger players to step up and try to take the job. Stupid to throw a punch and a worthy suspension.

Hopefully guys learn to keep their composure in the future so we aren't losing potentially twice - once vs OSU and once vs potentially the next opponent because of lost composure on the field.
